Vughead/Jeronica (There story my way)

Part Twenty-six

Veronica's POV

I walked out of my room and Toni was standing a few doors door. As soon as she saw me she walked over to me. "What did he say?" She asked. I made it look like I was upset like he wasn't happy or something. "Oh I'm gonna go beat his ass." She said trying to walk by me. I smiled. She glared at me with a smile on her face as I did this. "He's happy about it isn't he?" She asked. I nodded still smiling like crazy. "Yep!" "You bitch! I gonna kill you!" She said. "Please don't." Jughead said as he walked out of my room. We both looked at him. "I won't a promise." She started. "At least while she's pregnant." She said quietly. We all laughed. "Well I hope what I'm about to say would change your mind." I started. "What?" She asked. "Well I know it's a little to early, but I want you to be my maid of honor at my wedding." She smiled. "Of course! Anything for you!" I smiled back. "Great!" I said excitedly. "Well have you guys even planned anything for the wedding?" I looked at Jughead. "Nope!" Then back to her. "Well now that you know your pregnant are you going to plan fast or wait till after the baby is born?" I shrugged. "Jug and I will have to talk about it." I said. "Oh okay." She said. "But for now why don't we go to Pop's for tiny celebration?" Jughead asked walking over, wrapping his arm around me. I smiled. "Sure. Toni you want to?" She shrugged. "Why the hell not?" "Okay let's go." I said. Jug and I walked off with Toni right behind us. I grabbed his hand and heard Toni mumble something. "I love it!" I smiled and laughed a little. "I can hear you." "Great! Now you know I love you to being together." I rolled my eyes.

When we got to Pop's Jughead ordered a burger with fries while Toni and I just shared fries.

About ten minutes later Toni's phone started buzzing. "Hey guys I gotta go." She said. "Why? What's the matter?" I asked. "Nothing it's just Cheryl." She said getting up. "Is something going on between you two?" I asked. "What? No. I just haven't seen her since I left the house this morning." "Oh okay." I said and she left. I turned and looked at Jughead. "I think she's lying." I said. "Why do you say that?" "Well she was a little hesitant when she was talking." I said worriedly. "Well if something is happening you should maybe stay out of it for a bit." He said. "Why? She seems upset." I said. "Because I went through the same thing with you." I gave him a confused look. "What do you mean you went through the same thing with me?" I asked.

Jughead's POV

Veronica's been mia lately. She hasn't been showing up to school at all and she... and she hasn't been answering any of my calls or texts.

"I've always cared!" I sorta yelled. "Maybe a bit more than your do." I finished and walked off.

She opened her mouth to say something, but I stopped her by hugging her. "Thank god your okay." I said

"What are you doing here?" She asked. "I've been so worried." She laughed like I was crazy. "You were worried?" I nodded. She turned around facing her back towards me. "Really cause I don't think any one has been worried about me for the past two weeks!" She said sarcastically. "Oh please don't be sarcastic now." I said. "What do you care?" She said and looked back at me. "It's not like nothing has happened to me." Okay this sounded really suspicious. "What are you talking about?" I asked. She looked like she was about to start crying. She shook her head. "Nothing." We looked at each other for a second. "You need to leave." She said. "No, I don't I think I should." "What do you mean?" She asked. "Your upset." She looked away from me. "I can handle myself." She said.

I walked into the bathroom and the first I notcie is a little blood on the counter. I looked around if I could see anymore. Nope! Thank god. I walked back out and Veroncia wasn't were I last saw her. "Damnit! Veroncia!" I yelled. No answer.

No sign of her. My heart is racing. My head is pounding. I'm so fucking worried right now.

"Veronica please. We both know this is my fault just stop. I can... I can help you." She laughed. "Yea, you can. Before you have to to back to Betty." She said. I sorta nodded in agreement. "I know. I know, but this isn't the right way around things." I told her. She sighed. "It might as well be like this then your crazy girlfriend -who by the way hates my guts- tries to kill me." She said. "I wouldn't let her hurt you." I reassured her. She was still crying.

I pulled her into another hug and this time she hugged me back. "I'm staying here, with you." I said. She pulekd out of the hug and looked at me. "What?" She sounded worried. "Yes, I am and your not telling me no--" "No, no, it's not that. It's just what if Betty finds out that your staying over here?" I sighed. "Then I'd take care of it then, but until that happens or if it does happen." She nodded and looked at me. I looked at her. We just looked at each other; after a while she looked down. "I'm gonna go change I have blood on these clothes." She said. "Yea, okay." I said.

A few minutes later She walked out. She had a baggy t-shirt and sweat pants. "This is the only comfortable thing I could find that was good." I laughed. "It's fine." I told her. She laughed to. "You hungry?" I asked. She nodded a little. "A bit yea." "Okay I'll make you something." I said and we walked into the kitchen to get something to eat.

These were the only things going through my mind until Veronica brought me out of it. "Juggie? Hey you okay." I looked at her. I didn't say anything I just kissed her, passionately. When I pulled away She smiled a little. "What was that for?" She asked. "Just... I love you." I said. She smiled. "I love you too, but you never answered my question." She said. I chuckled. "Not gonna give this up?" "Nope! What is it? What do you mean you went through the same with me?" I sighed. "You missing school for two weeks... when we finally got together." I said. She smiled on her face slowly faded. "Oh. Oh yea, I remember that." She said sadly. I hugged her. "We don't need to bring this up. Not now, not ever." I started. "I promise. That was the past." I said truthfully. "Besides..." I said grabbing her left hand, pointing the ring on her finger. "This... and this." I said moving my hand from her hand to her stomach. "These are our future." The biggest smile came across her face. "Yeah." She said and kissed me again and I kissed back.

I know most of this chapter was chapter eight. It was just me copying and pasting the shit. Anyway! Hope you enjoyed!
