"I Missed U" | Kiandrea

Kian
It's been about four and a half months since Andrea Russett and i split. Four months since "Kiandrea" stopped being a thing. Every day since then, i think about her for some reason. I miss the times i had with her, and i hope she does too.
"KIIIAN!" JC calls me from downstairs. I slowly get off the bed, looking down at my phone, mindlessly scrolling through Instagram. "Keeeeeyuhn," JC calls again. I dont respond but run quickly down the stairs. "What d'you need?"
"Oh," Jc turns around. "Kian, since it's Halloween, i want to throw a party and i plan on inviting a shit ton of people. Also, i wanted to buy a shit ton of food and candy. I was wondering if you could help me."
"Yeah, i could help you.. but who are you planning on inviting?"
"Uh, ya know, people. Lia, Connor, Dom, Ricardo.." His list went on forever. I listened for 'Andrea' but he never said it. Relief flowed through me. I agreed to help him. "I'll get Ricky."
"Ricky isn't here," JC claimed. "He's um, doing some errands."
"Oh..." I shrugged. "Let's go, i guess." Then we headed to Target.

Andrea
For some reason, i woke up at 1 pm. My alarm clock must have ran out of batteries or something and none of the girls woke me up. Since the apartment was quiet, i knew Jenn, Arden, and Lauren had gone somewhere. I lazily roll out of bed, sinking in that they went somewhere and that i was alone.
Suddenly, a thought popped into my head. ITS HALLOWEEN ANDREA. I wasn't ready whatsoever for the night and i only had a few hours to get a creative / sexy / cool costume PLUS candy. I only had like 6 hours. I started stressing out. But I decided to text Arden.
"Where u guys at?"
I waited a few seconds then,
'✔️ Read at 1:23 pm.'
but she didn't reply.
"ARDEN"
'Delivered'
Nothing popped up for the next 10 minutes. It was 1:36 and i was still in my pajamas. (Hmm...) i thought to myself. (Maybe i should start looking for candy and look through costumes.) I decided to check Target first.

Kian
It was 1:53. JC and I were STILL at Target. Out cart was almost filled to the top with food, drinks, and a LOT of candy. "JC," i exclaimed. "How many people are you inviting to eat THIS much food?!"
"Well, im inviting Lia, Dom-"
"I dont want the list, its just that i dont think we need THIS much food! We havent even looked at costumes yet!"
"Oh shit, yeah!" JC muttered. He ran ahead, leaving me struggling to push the million-pound cart. But on the way there, i saw someone that literally made my eyes pop out of their sockets. She was on the other side of the store, but i could see her features clearly. She wore familiar sweatpants and had a messy bun. My eyes felt like they were going to melt until-
CRASH! My cart collided with another cart, knocking it over sideways. I jumped not because of the crash, but because of the person i had crashed into. Andrea Russett.

Andrea
Okay, maybe Target wasn't the best place to go. First of all, i had a cart-crash in the middle of the store in which my cart got pushed over and i realized EVERYONE in the store saw it. Second of all, i had crashed into someone i hadn't even thought of SEEING at Target: Kian Lawley. My ex. He looked so different in person from the last time i saw him. He was more mature and had a bulkier figure.
"Sorry!" He quickly apologized like it was his fault. It was actually mine because i was looking at my phone.
"No no no, don't be sorry! It was my fault! I was looking at my phone.." I noticed he started sweating. I really didnt want him to feel bad, so i quickly bent down to pick up the stuff that fell out of my cart. Just as quickly, he ran over to pick up the cart and helped me pick up the rest of the candy and the unicorn costume i picked out. He held it up for a second then slowly smiled.
"I know, it's stupid," i said, almost laughing at myself. "I had no better idea.."
"No no, it isn't stupid! It's... cute." I felt myself blushing. He looked at me and quickly placed the costume in the cart. When all the stuff was back in place, we awkwardly had a short conversation as i lead him to the Costumes section.

As Andrea led me to the Costumes section, a weird feeling sparked in me. It was like this moment was destined to happen. Im not sure she feels the same way.
Before she left, i gave her about a fourth of the candy from my cart before i saw JC. "JC!" i pushed the cart ahead. He waved to me then held up a unicorn costume. "How's this?" He smirked.
"Haha, no."
"Okay... how 'bout this?" He held up a hot dog costume. I just laughed.
We finally got to the house at 2:23, which means JC and i were at Target for an hour. But in my opinion, that was the best hour i've had in four and a half months.
At 3:50, Ricky came in with Jenn, Lauren, and Arden. Andrea's roommates. What were they doing here?
"Hey guys!" Ricky exclaimed. JC walked in. "Sup. Are y'all ready to set up this party?"
"Hell yeah!" Jenn replied faster than the blink of an eye.
"It's gonna be badass," Lauren added. Arden placed shopping bags on the floor. "I got the props. Let's get started."
It took almost an hour to set up everything. At 6pm, the girls left.
"The Halloween party's gonna start at eight," Ricky told me. "We're gonna invite EVERYONE."
Without thinking, i asked,"Is Andrea coming?"
Ricky hesitated, then said, "I don't know."
