Chapter 2: Affection

Bill's POV~

I was so lost in thought I hadn't even notice Pinetree was staring at me. Next thing I know I'm being pulled into a sweet, warm, embrace. I was shocked why would Pinetree of all people hug me?

I wanted to know, so I dipped into his thoughts.

'Is Bill okay, I've never seen him so sad not even a sad like voice ever came from him. It worries me'

What type of trickery is this? I'm not sad.... I am? I'll have to look through books and see if I can find something close to emotions.

But I do feel quite gloomy, is this sadness?

I smiled, maybe being human won't be so bad.

Dipper's POV~

"It's okay Pinetree, just having a little trouble finding out what hurts more"

I jolted up and looked at him dead in the eye. "What hurts?" It was more an act of 'If someone says there hurting it can mean many things and you have to help them no matter what'.

I hate that I'm always trying to make people feel better, they just normally push me away.

"I'm... Not sure..."

I face palm, how in the world can you be hurting and not know what hurts( Now I'm foreshadowing )

"What time is it?"

"8pm"

WHAT!! Me and Mabel only left at 2pm!

"I should get going, if I don't Mabel is going to kill me" I gave a giggle, to be honest Mabel is funny when she's mad.

Bill was very confused.

"How is her killing you funny?"

"Its and metaphor"

I grabbed the journal and started walking. I looked around, I have no idea where I am.

"Can you walk me back, your powerful and I don't want to get killed walking back by myself."

He just smiled.

~Time skip~

When we got back to the Shack I just stared at it.

"Bill, can you teleport us into my room? Please"

He snapped his fingers, and I felt a bit sick. Teleportation is not good with the human stomach.

"Thanks, I didn't want my Grunkle's to know I got back so late"

Bill nodded and sat on my bed looking around.

Bill's POV~

A few minutes past and I could feel Pinetree's warm face on my shoulder quietly snoring.

I layed him down on his bed and took off my golden coat, I layed it down on his like a blanket. Then with a snap of my fingers, I was in an eerie pit known as the mindscape.

In the middle of the mindscape I saw a luminous blue color that had just recently dawned through the black emptiness.

It was Pinetree's dreamscape. So with out any warning I walked into the blue abyss of light.
