Chapter 34 Travelers

(Venus' POV)

I quickly got up and was out the door in a matter of seconds

I knew that Klaus, Rebekah, and Elijah were right behind me

It felt as though I was running at a human pace, even though, I looked around and everything was a blur

My heart was pounding and it seemed as though I couldn't get to my brothers fast enough

What if something happened to them?

What is
Jesse hurt them?

What if he killed them?

How would I be able to live with myself?

How could I ever be able to look at Jesse?

But that was it, I wouldn't...no, I couldn't live with myself

All these years I stayed away from my brothers to protect them, yet it seems as though all I've done sense I've gotten here is put them in danger

That's all I'll ever done

Coming back home, that was my biggest mistake

I should have stayed away and let them live their lives, peacefully

I should have stayed dead

But I guess there is no going back

I knew that if I walked into my house and found my brothers....gone, I would kill Jesse

I would kill my son

(Klaus' POV)

We were still running, only a few minutes away from the Salvator Boarding House

I could feel Venus' fear, radiating off of her

She was so scared

I ran faster and was by her side, I looked down at her and slowly put my hand in hers

She seemed to relax a little, but her eyes we stone cold

We were already outside, but Venus didn't wait see if she heard her brothers, she just ran straight into the house

Followed by my siblings and I

We stood behind Venus, as she staired off at something in the living room

She looked petrified

"Oh my god" she said, looking off into the distance

I put my arm around her, prepared to find Damon and Stefan massacred

But that's not a what I saw, what I saw was Stefan and Damon, tied together with a pair of chains, in nothing but their boxers, with an apple in their mouths

A small smile grew on my face, when they saw us

I looked down at Venus, as she pulled out her phone took a picture

"For leverage" she giggled

Her brothers were growling and tring to get out of the chains and hissed in pain as Venus walked around them

"Who did this" she asked them

She went to touch the chains, but she feel flew back, smashing into the wall

I ran to her side, along with Rebekah and Elijah

"Ow" she groaned

Stefan and Damon were both trying to say something

I walked over to them and smiled, taking the apples out of their mouths

"Are you okay" they both asked Venus

"Better then you two. Want to tell me why Jesse did this to you?" she asked

"Not Jesse....travelers" Damon told her

"Travelers?" Venus asked

"They are kind of like witches, but they are a but they are more resourceful. They have a grudge toward anyone that draws their magic from Nature. They hate the witches because they cursed the land to turn it against them. Now the Travlers on the move and have been sense Rome. Silas and Qetsiyah were supposedly the most powerful Travelers in their time, but after Silas turned immortal, he couldn't use magic anymore" Stefan told Venus

"As for Qetsiyah, she was killed buy a group of Travelers, for making the immortaly spell" Damon added

"So, what do they want with you?" I asked them

"Well, dear sister, it wasn't us they were after" Damon said

"Then who?" she asked

"Jesse, they wanted Jesse" Stefan groaned, as he touched the chains

"What?" She asked
