11. Rain & Ignorance

She falls like rain. Tumbling down from the clouds above. Rolling across the pavement. Floating down the river she created.
She is at peace.
She is content.
She knows and accepts her fate.
A memory resurfaces, suddenly, and a single word cascades up and out, passing through her lips, gentle and light.
"Inevitable"

Ignorance is bliss when floating down a current. The drift is always calm and trusting and ignorant of the drop a few feet ahead.

He loves love. Love shared mutually between two people. An overflow of happiness. And abundance of joy. A guessing game of she loves me she loves me not. The thrill of being unaware. Because when I'm unaware I lose my grip and I slip away from reality and I lose the smaller things. The details. Thus giving me more room for positive thoughts. Just like when something looks better from a distance, my reality becomes more comfortable when I ignore the facts.
