Chapter 32 Sleeping in the Fort⛺️

Kelly POV

I think I fell asleep before Hayes wrapped his arms around me.

But one thing I know for sure is that his arms are wrapped around me right now.

It tingles where his fingers twitch every so often, and his steady breathing informs me that he is still fast asleep.

Whenever I look at Hayes or whenever he flashes me that beautiful smile, I feel a zap of excitement or joy or something else. It's a foreign feeling.

I love it.

Hayes POV

I wake up to hear someone banging on my bedroom door.

I go to get up but I find myself tangled in Kelly.

She is lying right up against me, her long hair is in a messy topknot and she isn't wearing any makeup at all.

I crawl out of our fort and over to my bedroom door. I open it to find mum.

"Hey honey. you look tired the snorkelling must have really taken it out of you aye?" she says stroking my cheek,

"Yeah." I breathe out,

"Anyway it's 9:30, we just came back from dinner and we bought you back a container each of you guys usual." she says handing me some napkins and two medium boxes of food.

"Thank you mum." I say higher her and closing the door.

I place the boxes of food on the bedside table and crawl back into the fort.

I gently shake Kelly to wake her.

"Kel. I have some dinner for us." I say,

Kelly moans and then sits up rubbing her eyes.

"When did you get it?" she asks me,

"Everyone went to dinner and they got us some each. it's out there." I say gesturing to the entry.

Kelly and I crawl back out and sit down on the floor with our boxes of food in front of us.

I look Kelly in the face and see she's still half asleep.

"Here let me feed you." I say taking Kelly's fork,

She doesn't stop me front taking her fork like Krystal would, and she lets me shovel food into her mouth unlike Krystal.

"Thanks." she says munching on the mouthful.

"It's okay." Smiling.

I take another fork and with both hands I feed myself and Kelly who is still half asleep.

Kelly wakes up enough to feed herself and we finish our food and then set it aside.

"Do you want to go downstairs into the game room and watch some TV?" I ask Kelly,

"Sure, first let me re-tie my ponytail it kinda came out while I slept." Kelly replies pinging a hair tie around her hair.

Kelly POV

We both crawl out of the fort, head downstairs and into the games room to see Nash and skylynn sitting there watching spongebob.

"Can we watch TV with you two?" Hayes asks,

"Sure could you watch skylynn until she has to go to bed please?" Nash asks getting up,

"Where are you going?" Hayes asks Nash,

"I'm really tired and I want to go to bed." Nash replies,

"Oh okay." Hayes says,

We walk over to the long couch and Hayes tries to sit be skylynn.

"No Hayes, I want Kelly to sit with me!" she says in a sassy tone.

"Fine then!" Hayes says pretending to sulk,

"Baby!" skylynn says laughing,

Hayes can't keep a straight face and we all end up in fits of laughter.

Kelly POV

Elizabeth comes into the room and sees skylynn asleep on my lap and smiles.

"Don't you two look cute." she whispers, "It's skylynn's bedtime, I think I'll go put her in bed."

"Okay." I reply letting Elizabeth gently pick skylynn up.

"You two look pretty darn tired too, Kelly why don't you stay over Hayes has a double bed you can both share." Elizabeth says,

"Sure." Me and Hayes both say in sync,
