I'm currently sitting on a table in the cafeteria the boy yet to be named sitting across from me just analysing me. I nurvosly look around to find any of my friends or Jake. My palms were sweaty as
I rubbed them together. I really don't want to talk to this dude.

"So what's going on with you? Your acting different"

The voice startled me, despite being in the cafeteria with all this noise is sounded quiet.
"Um... I-I um..." I take a deep breath and gather some courage.

"T-The rumours are true... I have lost my memory of... everything"

His eyes widen and I see both surprise sadness and disbelief all wrapped into one.

"So you don't know who I am?"

I nod slightly, I feel really bad for forgetting my friend. He's silent for a long time as if he's trying to digest this information. He looks at me with a sad smile.

"Okay well my names Nora it's nice to uhh re-meet you?"

I smile "thank you Nora, can you tell me about yourself and our relationship, I still want I be friends with you even if I never get my memories back."

He smiles widely "I'd love that"

We spent all of lunch talking and laughing as he tells me about our childhood adventures. He was my childhood friend we had known each other since we were only 5 years old, and stuck by me even when I turned into a jerk. He told me that he was the only person I had told about me being gay and my crush on my brother. I guess the past me really trusted this boy. I can understand why though, he was fun to be around and he made laugh.

He was just in the end of telling me a story of how we were spray painting near a lake and I fell in. When i see Jake sitting down next to me and he begins glaring at Nora. I frown but smile when I look back at Nora who looks like he either doesn't notice or doesn't care.

"Hi Jake!" I smile

He glances at Nora Buford focusing his attention on me smiling.

"How are you?" His voice was unusually soft and was leaning quite close to me.

"I'm doing great! Just talking to Nora here" I say pointing a finger at Nora, he grins and waves to Jake.

Jake just looked confused and ignored him, pulling me up and dragging me out of the cafeteria. I watch his back with confusion, looking back to Nora he just slimed at me and waved a hand as if to say 'don't worry'.

I turn back as we go through the doors, trying to tear my hand out of his.

"Hey! Jake! Stop!"

He stops and I manage to bump into him. He turns around and just stares at me. I look at him confused.

"What's wrong?"

He was silent and I tried to look back to think of what I did wrong for him to be mad at me. Oh.

"Is it... Nora? Is that the problem?"

I see him flinch and I calm down when he squeezes my hand in agreement, but that just makes me blush when I realise we're still holding hands.

"Hey... Jake look at me"

He slowly turns his head to me staring into my eyes.

"What's Nora like?"

He freezes I couldn't even hear him breath. His hand falls from mine, it felt cold and I couldn't help but want to hold his hand again.

He turned around so I couldn't see him and bolted while I stood there in the middle of the hallway like a complete lunatic just staring at my hand in confusion and frustration.

What in the hell just happened?
