Falling In Love With A Bad Boy

Chapter 8

I got to the Smith's house at 6:30. Jake and Nancy were ready and waiting on me.

"The numbers are on the fridge like normal if you need anything." Nancy stated.

"Ok. We are fine. Just go and have a good time." I said.

I locked the door after they left and went to the couch. I texted Travis to tall him to come over at 8. I will have the kids in bed by then. Then I will be free for hour and half before Mr. And Mrs. Smith come home. They are so predictable.

I sent Travis a text on the address.

I went through the routine of playing legos with Jimmy and reading to the kids. After I get the 2 kids ready for bed, I sit on the couch and wait for Travis to show up. I have 10 long minutes to wait.

Finally I hear the roar of a motorbike outside. I jump up and meet him at the door.

"Hey."

"Hey. Wanna watch a movie?" I ask.

"Sure." He replied.

We go into the living room and he sits in the corner of the couch. I sat in the middle, unsure if I should get close.

"You can scoot closer, I don't bite." He said.

I move closer and he draws me close with his arm around me. We settle in watching a good movie. This feels nice. I like cuddling. As he laughs, I lay my head on his chest and feel the vibration.

"Comfy?" He asks.

"Yes. This is nice. How did you break away from Chase?" I ask.

"Just said I was going to meet a friend. Were you worried I wouldn't show up?"

"Kinda." I replied.

"I like spending time with you."

"Really? Why?" I ask.

"I think you are sweet. I was instantly attracted to you like a bee to honey." He said.

I didn't know what to say. I leaned up and kissed him. How could I tell him that I am in danger of falling head over heels for him.

"I like you too Travis. You seem tough, but you are sweet too."

He laughed and said, "don't tell anyone that. You will ruin my reputation!"

We cuddle back in and finish the movie.

"They will be home soon, I think you should head out before they get here."

"I can wait up for you. We can play cards when you get home? " he asks.

"Sure."

Shortly the Smith's come home.

"How were they?" Nancy asked.

"As always, the kids are awesome. Jimmy and I built that castle in the corner. He can't wait for you to see it." I replied.

I headed home hoping that Travis and I can have time alone to play cards. But that is not how it happened.

I found Chase at the table also.

"Hey. Playing cards?" I ask casually as I glance at Travis.

"Yeah. Wanna play dork?"

"Sure, what we playing?"

"Gin rimmy." Travis says.

I settle in across from Travis. Chase deals us cards.

"I am gonna kick your asses tonight!" Chase thunders. He thinks he is the best card player.

Travis and I both laughed at him.

As we are on our second round, I feel a foot touching mine. I give a liitle smile.

"You think you got a good hand dork?" Chase teased.

"Maybe."

I start to play with his foot also. This is nice. I get brave and run my foot up his leg. He stiffened and he looked at me with hooded eyes. Oh my, he likes it.

Thank god Chase is oblivious. I don't know what he would do if he knew we liked each other.

I put my foot back on the floor when I hear mom walk in the front door.

"Hey kids. What you playing?" Mom asked.

"Gin rummy and I am kicking their butts!" Chase beamed.

"Ok then. I am heading to bed. See you in the morning." Mom said as she walked out.

"Night." We all say to her.

"I think I am gonna head to bed too." I say as I stood up.

"Why don't we watch a movie down here?" Travis offered.

"Yeah, we can do that. Wanna join Ally?" I was surprised that Chase asked me.

"Sure. Let me get into sweats and grab my pillow and blanket." I head upstairs smiling.

When I made it back to the living room, the bous were laying on their stomachs searching to guide.   I kick Chase to make him move over, so I  can get in the middle.

"Oooh, turn on Mean Girls!" 

"No! Here's MIB International.  That's supposed to be good. "  Chase said.

I agreed.  I like the Men in Black movies.

"Who want popcorn?"  I ask as I get up and head to the kitchen.

"Can you grab pop for us?"  Travis hollored.

I came back with 3 cans and a big mixing bowl full of popcorn and sit in in the middle of the 3 of us.

"Remember we always did this before you went to college?  I miss it."  I looked at Chase with a pouty face.

"I guess I do too. " he said.

The movie is good.  We laughed a few  times.  When the movie was almost over, Chase was completely out and snoring.  What a lightweight! 

"I guess we are kinda alone."  Travis whispers in my ear and kissed my temple. It  gave be goosebumps. 

We finished watching the movie and moved to get up off the floor.

"No, stay here.  We can sleep here tonight."  He said as he rolled on his back.

I rolled to my side and faced him.  We just looked at each other for god know how long, but we must have fell asleep.
