Third Person
Last night

Stefan was a wreck, but he couldn't blame anyone but himself. He constantly let his feelings get in the way of everything he did. Being on the road with Klaus was supposed to make him forget and let go of everything he knew in Mystic Falls, but it did the complete opposite.

Listening to Natalia's conversation with the bartender earlier that night, Stefan knew what he was doing was wrong. He was letting his feelings get in the way of his friendship with Nat, and it wasn't fair to her. She was trying to be a good friend with no strings attached and he was taking it as something more.

When Natalia left, Stefan wanted to chase after her and tell her everything that's been on his mind. But he knew it was no use, once nat was upset there's no going back.

"Looks like you're in the dog house mate." Klaus was amused by the whole situation. He knew the faster Stefan was out of the picture the faster he could get closer to Natalia.

"Yeah, I'm going outside for a minute." Stefan stood up and pushed past everyone in his way towards the entrance.

Standing in the middle of the parking lot, Stefan pulled out his phone and stared at the contact. He pressed the name and let the phone ring.

"Hello?" He didn't say anything but he knew she would eventually answer.

"Hello?" There was a pause. "Stefan?"

"Stefan if this is you, you'll be ok. You can survive this. Whatever you do, just hold on."  He didn't know what to do, or how to feel. "I love you Stefan, hold on to that. Never let that go." Stefan knew that if he couldn't have the person he truly wanted, there'd still be that one to fall back on.

Everything to Klaus was about power and strength. He was the alpha male and he'd do anything to stay on top, even if that meant faking feelings for a certain witch.

Klaus has heard the things about Natalia, and he'd be a fool not to listen. The power she possesses is enough to take down him and his family, and he couldn't have that.

Meeting Natalia in Athens was purely by accident. He had been trying to get answers about the all powerful Natalia and she seemed to be doing the same thing. Of course when he ran into her, Klaus knew who she was, it was better for him to act as if he didn't.

Getting to know her was nice, she was like a breath of fresh air in his stuffy life. She allowed him to breath and air out every problem he had at the moment. But Klaus being...Klaus, he didn't share everything, scared she could one day use that against him.

Running into Natalia again wasn't as surprising as the first time. Klaus knew where she lived, after their day spent together he had got in touch with a witch and found out more things about her. Little things. For example, where she lived, her high school graduation year, her family tree and so on.

That night he planned his first move, ready to mess up a good thing before it even started.

Natalia is beacon of power. Wanting to be used by many for their own selfish reasons.

Natalia doesn't know exactly how much power she possesses and manifests, but she's willing to learn. Throughout her teenage years, Natalia felt like there was something missing in her life. Sure she had Stefan and later Alexa and Anais, but she didn't have anything for herself. Then she figured out her magic.

To say she was astonished was an understatement. Natalia always knew there was something off about herself. From the time she was five years old she noticed little things. She once knocked a glass off the table because she didn't want it there anymore. To be fair, it was in the way of her watching tv and Chowder was on.

As she got older, things got easier, in a sense. Natalia still struggled with learning spells, of course her Grams helped out a lot along with Stefan, but there were still things she had to learn within herself. Because of how much power she possesses, even simple spells became a chore. Something as simple as lighting a candle, turned into almost setting the entire house on fire.

By her 21st birthday Nat had almost everything down pat. There was still some learning to do but she was willing to learn.

December 3-8, 2019

I don't really know what this chapter is. It's kind of a now and flashback type of thing and I hope it's not confusing.

I'm going to start putting more gifs in front of chapters, specifically nature themed ones because that's sorta kinda Natty's thing 🤗.

I have two more chapters coming that might be out tomorrow or Tuesday, I'm not sure. Ones a tb and one isn't, just a heads up so you won't be confused.
