(S2:E18)
Damon, Stefan, and I waited outside as Bonnie and Elena spoke to a lawyer inside of the boarding house. Elena was signing papers for ownership of the Salvatore house. It was to keep her safe, but I could not believe the lengths that Stefan and Damon would go to too keep her safe.
"You really think Bonnie can take on Klaus?" Damon asked Stefan, I looked over at the two brothers. "She said she could channel enough power to kill him. Elijah thought that would work and he was an Original, so..." Stefan says as the two brothers look out towards the landscape. I could not think about how my brother was going to die. He might've put a dagger in the hearts of all my siblings, but he still was my brother.
Somewhere in the deep oceans my brothers and sister laid dead with a dagger in their hearts. It was horrible that Niklaus would do such a thing but still I could not betray him even though he has betrayed everyone else. That's the thing about family, no matter what you're never supposed to turn your back, even when they're being children.
"Could she do one of those witch tracking spells?" Damon asked Stefan, I paid little attention to them, as I was thinking of a way to stay neutral in this battle.
"Nope. Not without something that belongs to Klaus. Believe me, I already asked." Stefan says then looking over to me as I kept my eyes firmly on the ground.
I could feel his eyes, they knew I was staying neutral in this and at this point didn't even bother asking me. Which was a wise choice because I refused to help them kill Nik. "Do you think he killed her?" Damon asked still talking to Stefan, I looked around the outside and at some flowers.
The outside was breezy, it felt warm with a bit of breeze. The smell of trees and flowers was in the air. It was a smell that I fancied but seemed to never have the time to really relax and enjoy. "Katherine? Probably." Stefan said, "It's not like she didn't have it coming." I finally spoke up. As I spoke the door opened revealing Elena and the Lawyer. The lawyer takes a step out, leaving the premise.
"thank you, Mr. Henry." Elena says as she smiled while giving the lawyer a handshake, Elena turned around started to walk away, the boys begin to walk inside but couldn't quite make it past the door. Elena stops in her tracks then turns around to look at the two brothers as I stood behind them laughing. Damon turns around me giving me annoyed look as I stick my tongue out at him.
"I'm sorry. I completely forgot." Elena says then turning to face her boyfriend Stefan. "Stefan. Would you like to come inside my house?" Elena asks Stefan, he gives her a smile. "I would love to. Thank you." Stefan says walking into his house as he still smiled. Me and Damon soon look at Elena hoping she would let the both of us in. We both smile in hopes she would let us in. "What are we, twelve?" Damon asks, of course he has to say this when she is the only one standing in the way of him being able to be in his own home.
Elena' s smile soon falls, "One of us is." Elena begins, Damon gives Stefan a death stare till he continued his eyes to Elena's. "If I let you in, do you promise to obey the owner of this house?" Elena asks Damon, I look at Damon in hopes he will say yes, "No." he says. I elbow him in the side, "Say yes." I whisper to him as Elena stood only a couple feet away from us.
"Seriously, Damon. My way. You promised. I call the shots. No lies, no secret agendas. Remember?" Elena says pouting, "Yes, Elena. Sure." Damon says rolling his eyes.
"Then please, come in." Elena says, I coughed "That's what she said." Damon walks into the house now only I stood outside. I had no clue on what was going to happen. I did not know if she would trust me.
time to butter her up "Elena my favorite Doppelganger." I say telling the truth. I hated Katerina and Tatia. Tatia was the original Petrova Doppelganger, my brothers were madly in love with her until my mother killed her.
"Talia." Elena said gently, I gave her a smirk, "You can come in if-" She began I look over at Damon nervous of what she was going to say to me. He gives me a scared look as well; I don't think he meant to give it, but I picked it up.
"If you are on our side and will stay on our side." She asked, I was surprised that was all she said, "I am on your side. I want no harm on any of you." I say she gives me a considerate smile. "Then you can come in as long as you can keep it down at night." she says, I smile at Damon, "I cannot promise you that." I smiled as I walk in glad that I was accepted. I walked over to Damon putting my hand into his. I looked up at him as he looked down on me, he gave me a slight smile before leading me.
Bonnie walks by handing Elena a jacket, "Thanks." she replies, we all turn at her as the soon smiles then fled to a more concerned look. "Wait, where are you going?" Stefan asked as his usual brooding face was back. "To school." Elena says as it explained everything.
"Klaus is out there. We know that." Stefan says glancing over at me then to Elena.
"Right. But where? No one knows. Look, I really appreciate what you guys are doing. And I'll be able to sleep at night knowing that I'll be safe here, but I'm not going to be a prisoner." Elena says, I never seen a kid want to go to school so bad.
Elena looks over at Damon as he spoke, "Your way, Elena."
Bonnie spoke, "don't worry, I'm ready. If he shows his face, I can take him. I Know how." Bonnie says as she looked at Elena then Damon and then to me. The women was strong and Independent just like her ancestor, Cyrus. I smiled at the thought, he would have been proud.
"The way I see it, next to Bonnie is the safest place that I can be. Come on." Elena says.
"It is fine, I don't need the necklace." Elena says I was about to testify till she turned her back leaving. Stefan looks at the two of us as he scoffs, he looks back at the two girls that had already been halfway out through the door, "Wait, um, coming." He says as he follows them. I look at Damon, "That's what she said." He smiles as he gives me a high five.
"So, what do we do now?" I questioned looking over at Damon as the high schooler went off to school, "I could think of a few things" he said sending me a wink, I smiled flirtatiously, "what would that be?" I questioned in a seductive tone as I walked up to him until I was against his chest.
He gave me a smirk, "sorry" he said with a lift of his eyebrows. I looked at him confused on why he said sorry, "the board game sorry" he announced humorlessly, "get your mind out of the gutter Tal" he said smirking at me.
I took a step back from him as I laughed at him, he grabbed my arm pulling me into him, "Or we can do other things." he said giving me his seductive smirk. I smiled, "Oh really? Like what?" I said stepping back from him.
I smiled as he pushed me against a wall.
~Time Skip~
After me and Damon decided to "Play a game" in his room we then headed downstairs where we then decided to play a game of strip quarters. In this game if I was to make one cup then Damon would have to drink but if I made three cups then he would have to strip an article of clothing.
I was winning, had my shirt off as Damon had not have a shirt nor pants on. "Come on, take it off for daddy." Damon yells, signaling that I had to take off my pants. I was laughing at this game. as I was unbuckling my belt the whole gang showed up. The gang being; Elena, Bonnie, Stefan. Not a gang bang.
"What's going on here?" Elena asks as she noticed the lack of clothing we had on, "Why must you do this here?" Stefan calls out, covering his eyes as I laugh and pulled my clothes back on.
"I think Damon has a thing for getting caught." I say remembering the time he told Jenna I had a thing for doing it in historical places.
Stefan had caught me and Damon up on what had happened, and what happened was that Niklaus is going to be at the dance tonight. He asked Elena to save him the last dance by using compulsion to tell a girl to tell Elena.
"So, we go to the dance, we find him." Damon says, "Really? How are we going to do that? We don't even know what he looks like. " Stefan says, I scorned him as I was the only one here besides Elijah who was dagger in the basement who knew what Niklaus looked like. "Something tells me he's not going to be sixteen and pimply." Damon said making me laugh from what he looked like when he was sixteen. "I know what he looks like. I can Dagger him and then after Elena dies I can undagger him. Everything is solved." I say happily.
"He has to die." Bonnie says, I look around the room understanding that they feared that he would still kill her.
Damon looks at Elena and Bonnie. "I guess it's not as safe as you guys thought, huh?" Damon said cockily.
A knock from the door is heard causing all of our attention towards the door, it opens and reveals to be Alaric, my drinking buddy.
"There you are." Damon says causing me too to look over my shoulder at Alaric. "Sorry I'm late." I hear him say I walk towards the Bourbon, "Ric my best friend." I yell like a drunk girl. I pour two cups of bourbon. I started to walk towards Alaric till Damon came to my side like a helpless puppy, "For me?" He asked with his adorable smirk on his face, "No This one is for Ric." I say handing Alaric the cup. Alaric gave me a small nod; he seems different but in a familiar way.
"Thanks Tal." Alaric says as he stared at me for a few seconds before taking the cup.
It was weird but something didn't feel right about tonight, I knew my brother he would have a plan. There would be no way that they would capture Niklaus tonight, he had a plan it was something I knew not by my senses because senses are unreliable sources according to John Locke. (Shout out to my philosophy professor)
"Hey, I need you to put me and Talia down as a chaperone at the dance tonight. Klaus made his first move." Damon says catching me out of my own head.
"Okay, so we find him and then what, hmm? What's our plan of attack?" Alaric says, "Me. I'm the plan. He has no idea how much power I can channel. If you can find him, I can kill him." Bonnie explains to the group.
"That's not going to be that easy. I mean, he is the biggest, baddest vampire around." Alaric says, "Alaric has a point. I mean, what if he..." Damon said as he rushes over at Bonnie and throws him onto the other side of the room with powers without touching him.
"Well, I was impressed." Stefan says as he watches his brother on the ground, I run over to Damon helping him up. "It doesn't matter if he's an Original. I can take down anyone who comes at me. I can kill him, Elena. I know I can." Bonnie said then using me as an example she throws me against a wall causing me to angry, "I think you should stop with the throwing of vampires." Alaric announces making give him a nod in respect.
"Bonnie you really know how to take a girl off her feet." I say laughing as Damon now helped me stand back up, "I thought that was what I was here for." Damon said smirking. I glanced over at everyone else, Alaric seemed disgusted.
"Alaric." I said walking over to him, "why are you looking so glum?" I questioned him. Alaric made a nervous laugh, as we both walked to the door. "You know Jenna and all." he said once we were in a far enough distance from the others like that would matter these people are fucking vampires with super hearing.
"Don't do anything stupid." I say as I thought about the last time, I saw him, that was before he stabbed my brother and before John stabbed me.
"I'll see you tonight, Tal." he replied.
