Nicki stepped back as she felt her heart drop to her ass. She stared at him in disbelief as his mouth moved fairly quickly. She couldn't even hear what he was saying. She was stuck.

"And it was wrong, I fucked up and I truly didn't mean to hurt you. You should know that. I want you. I don't want to end this here. I want you to be my wife. I want you to carry my baby girl. I..." Meek stopped talking as he put his head down.

"I'm so fucking sorry." He finished. "And if you really don't want anything to do with me, I think can take that. What I can't take is you counting me as just another man that let you down or hurt you."

Nicki stood there, still in shock. Most of his words were unclear because she went in and out, but she got the picture. Her body froze up.

"Nicki?"

"Is it hot in here? It's definitely hot. Let me go turn the heat off." She spoke quickly as she scrambled away from him. She got to the thermostat seeing that the air was on.

She walked back over to him, "Definitely hot. I'm thirsty, I'll be back." Nicki turned to leave again and Meek stopped her, grabbing both of her arms. She was all over the place as she let her nerves take over her body.

"Calm down." He told her, "Deep breath." Nicki inhaled, taking a deep breath before she exhaled. "Did you hear me?" He asked as he waved his hand in her face.

She slowly nodded, "I think so, yeah."

"You love me?" Nicki asked for conformation. Meek nodded, "I'm in love with you Tanya." She felt her heart beat slow down.

"I don't know... I don't know what to say.."

"I'm not going force you to say anything, but that's how I feel." Nicki stared at him as she went in and out again. She stood there, stuck watching him talk.

"Come on, sit down because you look like you bout' to pass out." Meek directed her to the couch, sitting her down. He went into the kitchen and grabbed a Fiji bottle out the refrigerator, handing it to her. "Drink this."

"Meek.." Nicki started as she closed the bottle up. "Yes?" He said, making eye contact with her.

"You know how I am.. You know I'm sensitive, and fragile, and broken.." Meek nodded his head, "I know, and I've been trying my best to help you out with this stuff."

Nicki nodded, "You have. I might sound like a little girl when I say this, but I can't take another heartbreak, small, or big. I really can't. I've been holding everything together for Christian, for me.. and I can't let you come in and disrupt any of that if you're not sure what you want."

"I-.."

Nicki put her hand up, stopping him, "I'm not finished. This whole little mix up made me feel like I wasn't good enough, and I already feel that way everyday. I'm trying to work on my mental health, and honestly I can't do that and worry about whether you're cheating on me when you leave my sight."

Meek sighed, "I know. I already know these things, which is why I did not, and would never cheat on you. Tanya, when I seen you, I can't lie your body and face caught my attention, but after we began hanging out and spending time together, I knew. I knew right away that I would be putting a ring on your left hand, no second doubt. You're perfect to me."

"I can't keep doing all this talking either. Because not only do my words count for something, but my actions do too."

Nicki nodded her head, rubbing her fingers over her chest. "Okay." She nodded, "I forgive you. I don't ever want to go through this again. I'm not into all that."
