While Ivy was working, the two seals were creating a plan. They were going to look around the fortress, and hopefully discover more about the secrets hidden within. "But how do we do that?" Ocean asked, disheartened.
"I may have an idea. Just go with it," Magic advised as she banged on her cell door. "Phantoms! Guards! Anyone! I'm going to be sick!" Ocean looked at her and mouthed the word 'Really?' before rolling her eyes. The phantom guards around just looked at her, uninterested.
Magic made gagging noises and banged again. "Help!" she cried. "If I get more sick, I won't be able to do my job tomorrow and you will all be in trouble!" Suddenly, all the phantoms around hastened to figure out who will take her for fresh air. Ocean mentally applauded her friend.
Finally, one phantom decided to take her out. He was a little smaller than the rest, and a few keys were attached to his belt. "Hurry," he said in a choppy voice. He unlocked Magic's cell and took her to a room with a window. "Breathe it in and then come with me," he ordered.
Magic narrowed her eyes. "I think not," she said. The phantom gasped and stepped backward. He slipped and fell in a puddle of goop. Magic grinned. She had always been able to tell what is flammable, and how to create fire.
Snatching the phantoms keys, she grabbed a vial of a liquid, which, she saw, when combined with goop, can create a blazing fire. The phantom burned until all that was left was ashes. She grinned and left the room, tipping the fire alarm on the way out. Now, everyone would rush to that room and Magic could sneak back to her cell unnoticed.
She quickly ran back to her cell, to Ocean's confusion. "How did you-- Where are the keys?" Magic smirked as she dangled the keys to show Ocean. Magic unlocked Oceans cell.
"I have my ways," she said with a tight smile. "Now hurry, we don't have much time."
Together, they raced through the halls and found a room called "Hawligram Rooom." Going in, Ocean picked up a small machine she noticed, and pressed a green button. She dropped it in shock as a life size projection of the Phantom King appeared. Ocean walked around it to notice a sheathed sword with a purple hilt.
"That's the sword!" she exclaimed excitedly. Then the hologram started talking.
"Time is of the utmost importance," he said. "So far, my sword has been able to give me basic powers, like bending others to my will, mind control, and battle strength." At this, Ocean looked at Magic with a smug expression on her face. Magic rolled her eyes and continued listening.
"But," the hologram said, "if I get my blood on Mira's last shed feather, I can use it's magic to enhance my sword and give me the power to destroy anything I touch. We need this in order to truly defeat the Alphas and take over Jamaa!" The seals gasped, afraid. "We will start with Mount Shiveer. Continue mining it, because that will make it unstable. Then we will destroy it."
The hologram faded out, and Ocean and Magic were again left in the darkness. It was Ocean who first spoke. "Do you realize what this means?" she asked Magic.
Magic nodded slowly. "They need Mira's feather. The alphas are looking for it too. The Phantom King wants to destroy Jamaa! Oh, and you were right about the sword giving him powers."
"For once, I don't want to be right," Ocean admitted, her shoulders sagging. "Now let's go. We need to see one more room." The fire alarm bells were still ringing, so they had at least another few minutes.
They walked to another room, labeled "Stooraj Rooom." Inside, they found hundreds of Jammer items! "These must have belonged to the prisoners," Magic realized. Ocean picked up a gray sword.
"We can use some of these," she said. Ocean grabbed the sword, a turquoise ring, and a flower headpiece that expanded into a helmet. Magic had a paperclip bracelet that expanded into a dagger, a matching flower headpiece, and a familiar scarf.
"I was wearing this when we were captured!" she remembered. After they collected items, they raced through the halls and back to their cells. They threw the items under their beds and the alarms ended and the phantoms came back. "I feel bad about taking all these Jammers' items..." Magic said reluctantly.
"I know," Ocean replied. "But we'll give them all back when we free them." The two hugged through the bars.
