"What?.." She said not grinning back
"Me,Louis and Lenny are all in the French Resistance" He whispered excitedly
"The what?" Sophie said raising one eyebrow confused
"La Françise Resistance" he repeated in French "It's this huge group where we help defeat the Germans without actually going to war"
"And why are you telling me this?.." Sophie said although the french resistance did catch her interest
"Well I was thinking you could join with us, there's a meeting tonight at 12:00am you in?"
"Of course" Sophie said smilling
"Alright I'll wake you at 11:20 tonight"
"George, Sophie time for bed" their mother called out from her room. George left sophies room and Sophie got dressed Into her warm soft nighty and fell asleep.

Sophie felt someone tap her shoulder. George her mind told her as she sat up rubbing her eyes.
"Come on sleepy head, get dressed" George said and quietly walked out of her room so she could get dress. Not long after Sophie joined her older brother and the tip-toed down the stairs and reached the front door. The two slipped on their leather shoes and tied their laces in the dark and George carefully opened the door allowing his younger sister to walk out into the freezing cold weather first.
"How are we going to know where were going if it's pitch black!" Sophie whispered to him.
"I brought pa's lamp we ride our bikes to Louis's house that's where the meeting is being held at" George and Sophie got on their bikes and rode. When on the rode George lit the lamp. The two rode in silence until they reached Louis's house which wasn't too far away from where they lived the two arrived at the house and they parked their bikes on their lawn and George knocked on the door still holding the glowing lamp. Louis's mother Abbe opened the door and said
"viens vite à l'intérieur j'ai du chocolat chaud pour vous deux"
Abbe took the lamp and blew the light out becuase she already had electric lights. Abbe handed them hot chocolate and the 3 walked into the living room. And say down with the rest of the people. A man stod up in front of the small crowd and said
