This story is about Asher and Annie growing up as best friends ever since they were the age of 6. They grew up in different neighbourhoods. And they would go hangout with each other on their free time.
But one day, they got separated at the age of 1...

Annie and Asher are currently at Starbucks chilling and chatting with each other.
"Asher, should I get a drink for my parents and Hayley?" Annie asked.
"Sure, go ahead. I'm not stopping you." he giggles.
Annie stands up and heads to the counter to order drinks. ---Asher's POV--- After the awkward silence. Annie asked me a question that really doesn't need my permission. But it's OK anyways.
I just watched Annie while she went to the counter to order the drinks. I tried not to stare at her beauty but suddenly my phone had a notification from my ex..
I took my phone and read the messages. ---The convo---

---end of convo--- I sighed and blocked her number, right about then Annie came and asked if we could go now. I agreed then we headed to my car.
"Ash, can you send me home?", Annie asked.
"Yeah, sure", I answered.
"Oh and can I please borrow your phone? I wanna take some pictures and send them to me. Unfortunately my phone died." Annie asked[again].
"Um, sure.", I lend my phone to her.
"Thank you."
I chuckled and continued paying attention to the road while driving.
We soon reached to Annie's house then Annie went out of my car. I quickly asked Annie, "Can I stay over? My parents went on a vacation for 2 days. So I'm all free for these 2 days."
Annie answers, "Oh sure! You can go look for a parking space around here."
I then park my car and head to Annie. We both went in her house together. Then all of a sudden we heard Hayley scream from upstairs.
Annie quickly placed down the drinks and ran upstairs along with me. We went upstairs to Hayley's room and all we saw was a hopeless Hayley on her desk trying to get away from a baby spider on her bed.
The both of us laugh. I took the baby spider and let it free outside.
"Oh gosh, thank you Asher. You're my hero" Hayley thanked me while she got off her desk.
"Hey, how about me? I deserve that. Cause' I got you your Starbucks" Annie crossed her arms.
"Well, thank you so much Annie. I am feeling kinda thirsty.", Hayley chuckles.
I sling my arm over her shoulder and walked downstairs with Annie and Hayley.
---Annie's POV--- When I got home. Asher suddenly asked me if he could stay over. I was surprised when he asked me that. But I allowed him to stay over since he gave me a ride. We went in the house and suddenly hear Hayley screaming. We quickly ran upstairs to her room and saw Hayley on her desk screaming over a baby spider.
I look over to Asher and stared at his cute laugh and beautiful smile. I suddenly have feelings for him. But does he have feelings for me too?
Once we went in downstairs, I gave Hayley her drink. After that Asher and I went upstairs to my room. When he entered he saw my sketchbook and looked through it.
"Did you draw this? Well it's beautiful."
"Thanks." I chuckled and layed on my bed.
He looked around and saw an old picture of Caleb then he frowned.
"Wow... I miss Caleb. If he was still here. He would've had the chance to teach me how to play baseball.." He sighed and stared at the picture.
"Yeah, well he bought me some bats. Want me to show you?"
"Sure."
I got off my bed and walked to my desk. I grabbed a bat that was placed under my desk and swung it around.
I chuckled, "That was dumb."
"No it wasn't. That was cute" Asher smiled.
"Awe, thanks." I blushed and put the bat back
"No problem, sweet cheeks."
We smiled at each other and were about to..
Hayley then barged into my room and screeched, "THERES AN ARMY OF COCKROACHES!"
"What?!" I screamed in shock. How? "You've got to be kidding.." Asher said in dissapointment as he took a few steps away from me.
We ran into Hayley's room and saw an army of cockcroaches climbing up her balcony on their way into her room.
Me and Hayley screamed while Asher took mosquito spray and sprayed at them cockroaches.
I asked, "DOES THAT EVEN WORK?!"
"I GUESS? I'VE TRIED IT BEFORE ON ANTS—" He answered
-When Hayley told us there's an army of cockroaches i thought she was joking. But by the looks on her face, she looked terrified. So Asher and I went to check. Believe it or not, there were actually cockroaches in her room. Well, there were some in the room and alot of them at her balcony. Asher took a mosquito spray and sprayed her whole room. And he also closed the door to Hayley's balcony.
All three of us stayed in the living room thinking about the cockroaches in Hayley's room. In shock.
Asher- Hayley why was there cockroaches trying to get in your room? Hayley- Ohhh! Its just nothing. Annie- Hayley... -_- Hayley- Annie....-_- Annie- HAYLEY!... OvO Hayley- ANNIE!... OVO Annie- Hayley, be serious right now. Tell us why was there cockroaches trying to get in your room? Asher- Yeah. Hayley- Fineeeee... I bought this thing called insect attractors at school be-- Ash&Ann- WHY WOULD YOU BUY SUCH THING! Hayley- BECAUSE. A random guy was walking by our school Ash&Ann- WALKING BY OUR SCHOOL! Hayley- and he was selling cool stuff just for $1 Annie- Hayley! Did you not listen to what mommy said?! Hayley- I know.. I know. Asher- Yeah. That "guy" could be dangerous. Hayley- o_o. Asher- Well let's go check your room if there's anymore cockroaches left.
We went back upstairs. And we were surprised that the cockroaches were gone and some were dead.
Annie- Wow Asher! Your mosquito spray trick worked! Asher- Meh. It's nothing. Hayley- Annie I love your boyfriend.
Asher and Annie looked at each other in surprise because they aren't a couple.
Annie blushed and said Annie- Um, Hayley you should go to sleep now. There is school tomorrow so we don't wanna be late. Asher- Yeah. She's right, we should sleep now.
Ash and I went to my room and got ready for bed.
I realized that Asher didn't have anything to wear. "Ash, you dont have any clothes to wear."
"Oh, I have spares in my car. Be right back." He ran downstairs to get his clothes.
I layed on my bed thinking about what happened today. I sighed and closed my eyes, wouldn't want to be late to class tomorrow.
