*daniels POV*
Today was the day I feared the most since my daughter Gracie was born. I feared she would become like me..inhuman...She had a human mom and a vampire father no one knows what she would be. Lyric is almost 15 already. Gracie is 10. They are growing too fast. Too soon.
I could feel it coming. I sensed what was about to begin. The beginning of the turn was coming. Gracie has been different. She lost all appetite. I noticed a red tint in her eyes. She shuts herself off in her room. She locks herself away. She doesn't come out for Hours. She doesn't make a sound. I worry about her. I worry about both of them. Both my little girls.
Everyday I question myself. I question wether I'm a good father or not. I question if I'm doing the right things. I question if I'm doing this properly. I wasn't 100% ready to become a dad but as soon as I held Grace in my arms I knew I loved her entirely. I have always known I love lyric as if she truly was my own. I wouldn't change anything at all.
I miss grace so much. She was my soulmate. She left this world too soon but I gained another beautiful angel that day. I gained our beautiful daughter. I gained my angel. I gained my perfect daughter.
About 2 months after Grace passed away I gained custody of Lyric after her father was abusing her. I have raised Lyric every day since. I have been there for her for everything. Raising two girls without grace is hard but I'm not alone because 3 months later Jack had a daughter named Lavender. Lavender and Gracie are inseparable they do everything together.
Gracie asks me about her mom a lot. I tell her whatever she wants to know. I tell her the fun stories about what we did together and about how amazing she was. She meant a lot to me. I have pictures of Grace on the mantel and the stair case I have pictures of me and her. I have pictures of me her and lyric. I just want them to remember their mom.
