CASPIAN

I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about the whole flying on brooms thing seeing as to how I have never seen a witch fly on one and thought they didn't do that anymore, but I guess they still do.
It was pretty fun but also a little terrifying at the same time.

Finally though after we 'landed' we stood looking at a rundown looking abandoned haunted looking house. There weren't many lights on and it was just getting dark.

"This doesn't feel right." Beta comments.

"Yeah, I'm not too sure about this." I agree.

"I agree. Something doesn't feel right." Payton says.

"Come on guys. We know it's supposed to be this creepy. That's part of her image and reputation. Besides, we've already come too far to turn back." Evanora mentions.

"Okay." I tell her as I take hold of her hand.

We both then take a deep breath and let it out as we start making our way up the porch steps and once we knock and wait a moment, we next hear the door begin creaking open a little and we can't see anything but darkness but then hear a female's voice.

"Who is it?" She asks in a low voice.

"Excuse me, are a the witch that can remove  anything from anyone and cure them?" Evanora asks.

"No. You have the wrong location, please go." She says and right as she's about to close the door, Evanora stops it with her hand.

"Please." Evanora pleads. "I need your help. My name is Evanora Thorne."

The witch doesn't say anything. Then the door shuts and we all look at each other upset but feeling lost as we now have no idea what to do.

Then we hear what sounds like locks and then see the door slowly begin to open up and now standing in front of us, was a woman that looked to be in her mid-forties but we knew was a couple hundred years old.

Her hair was long and unkempt, she had raggedy clothes it looked like and silver long straight hair that was braided.

"Are you really the Evanora Thorne?" She asks looking timid.

"Yes I am. Please, I can pay you whatever but can you help me?" Evanora asks.

The woman then takes a look out the door and to the right and left of us then starts hurrying us all inside where she then locks the door behind us with the ten deadbolt locks before turning around and looking at us.

"There's not much time. Please follow me." She says.

Before we could say anything, she was already walking fast and heading towards an arch shaped heavy door that was hidden behind a wall it looked like and she next closed that door behind us and locked it as well then she grabbed a torch that was lit with fire already and had us follow her down to what I was afraid was a dungeon of some sort.

The walls were made of stone as were the winding stairs we were walking down.

When we finally got to the bottom it had looked much nicer than up at the top. It looked more like you would normally see in a movie.

"Uh, so, why are we down here? And what is this place?" Evanora asks her.

"This is where I normally stay at. Upstairs is just so people can stay away. I have traps all over. I don't want visitors. Also, down here, there is no way anyone can track your scents or find out anyone is down here. But, I am willing to help you." She says.

"Thank you." Evanora says.

The witch nods her head and then looks at the rest of us.

"I'm sorry, are any of you hungry?" She offers.

"Uh, yeah." I reply.

"I can whip something up real fast." She offers.

"That's okay." Beta replies.

"No, it's really no trouble at all." She smiles and then looks at Evanora. "And by the way, it's an honor to meet you."

She next turns and starts walking back towards the kitchen where she starts making us something and five minutes later, I notice she has the table all set with what looks like a buffet and different drink types.

All of our stomachs begin to growl. She waves us to come over and take a seat. So we do and begin eating before we start going over why we are there and what all is involved in all of this.
