Everyone was scrubbing, washing, and shaking every last inch of the living space. The ceiling, the floor, the carpets, the furniture, the walls, the everything.

Mondo and Gonta would lift furniture as Taeko and Kirumi vacuumed underneath them. Leon and Kaede would scrub down the sleeping areas for everyone. Kaito and Hifumi would walk around, throwing away any trash and sweeping up dust. Korekiyo and Sakura wiped down the kitchen area.

Soon, the Hell part of the school looked squeaky clean. Nearly every dust particle had been picked up, no trash or blood on the floor or walls, and the furniture all washed and dusted. It all sparkled beautifully.

"Great work kids," Monokuma shouted, putting his hands on his hips. "I can't believe you did all of this!"

"So, you'll open the gate, right?" Leon asked, sounding desperate. The black bear looked the red head straight in the eyes. This made the Baseball teen sweat a little at the intensity.

"Check the time." Monokuma said quietly. Leon looked confused. Looking to his right, the red head stared at the clock.

10:38

"It's..." Leon couldn't finish his sentence. A lump was caught in his throat. They weren't fast enough, and now have to wait for morning again.

"Leon? What is it?" Kaede asked, looking at the time.

"It's nighttime. Meaning we'd have to wait for the morning. Again." Leon explained his silence. Everyone could feel Mondo tense up.

"Excuse me...?" Mondo's voice was dark and cold. Leon gulped and Taeko covered her mouth gently. The others didn't know what Mondo would do. He hasn't gotten mad around them, until now.

"You're telling me," Mondo pushed through the crowd, making his way to Monokuma. "That we washed, vacuumed, dusted, sweeped, worked our asses off. Only for you to say, that because it's 38 minutes into nighttime, YOU CAN'T OPEN THE FUCKING GATES!" Everyone, but Leon and Taeko, flinched as Mondo shouted. The two that didn't flinch ran to Mondo's side to prevent him from hitting the Monokuma here too.

"Listen, Mondo-buddy!" Leon started, trying to hold Mondo's left arm back. "Now that doesn't mean he isn't going to keep his promise!"

"Exactly!" Taeko shouted, holding Mondo's right arm. "But if you hit the Monokuma, there's a chance he'll never open the gates at all!" Mondo froze, his clenched fists loosening up. The two teens could feel his muscles relax, making them fall from the leaning and Mondo not keeping them up.

"Fine. But I better see that gate open by the time I get down here." Mondo threatened coldly, walking away to his room. Everyone stared after him, almost terrified.

Leon quickly got up, rushing to help Taeko up. The red head stared at the direction his friend went in. It was obvious to him there was more to it than "bro-hood". This made the Baseball Star smirk. Kaede snapped him out of it by tapping his shoulder.

"Leon, what's up," the blonde asked, "Your smirk is kind of scaring me." Leon chuckled, shaking his head.

"Mondo's in love." Leon said, turning his head to everyone. "Mondo Oowada is gay." The red head's smile was wide and supportive. Leon Kuwata was ready to be a matchmaker, if needed.

Kiyotaka paced in front of the gate, biting at his right thumb nail and tapping his left fingers on his hip. The poor teen was nervous to see his "bro" again. If he would ever be given the chance. The Headmaster of Hope watched him, a saddened look on the white bears face.

"Taka," Monokuma started, "I promise you'll see him again." The bear put a comforting paw on Kiyotaka's knee, too short to reach his shoulders. The prefect sighed, hitting his back against a wall near by and sliding down it. Monokuma waddled next to him and plopped himself down.

"I just want to see Mondo again... That's all I want..." Kiyotaka's eyes filled with tears. His voice was filled with pain as he hugged his knees. This was the most painful sight the Monokuma saw. The white bear started crying too.

"D - Don't cry. Don't cry, Taka. Whatever you do, don't..." Kiyotaka snapped towards the bear, a shocked and sorry look on his face. Before anything could come out of the black haired student, Monkuma shouted "CRYYYY!" The white bears tears were like waterfalls.

"Ah! No! Monokuma! Calm down! I'm fine! Look!" Kiyotaka was able to get the Headmaster of Hope to look at him, a smile spread across the teens face. Monokuma smile through tears, happy the teen tried to smile for him.

"I'll try to get the gate open as quick as possible! I promise!" Monokuma jumped up and quickly waddled away. This left Kiyotaka alone. Alone and sad.

"I just want to see him again..." Kiyotaka said to no one in particular. He just wanted to get his feelings out, whether that be to the air, walls, a human, it didn't matter.

"I want to see my bro. Be held by him again. God, I miss his voice. Even his cussing, even though it's bad influences. But, who cares now? We're all dead..." Kiyotaka's voice drifted off. His tears fell faster, he hugged his legs tighter, his sobs became harsher. All while this happened, sadly, Chihiro watched from around the corner.

"Why can't I just bust this fate down and go see him? Why am I not strong enough? Or lucky enough to get a key? Couldn't I have died of starvation? Why couldn't Celeste call me to kill Hifumi? Then she could've killed me, and I would be able to go through this gate...

"Why? Why me?" He looked at his hands, his shakey hands. "I want him to hold my hands. Tell me things will be okay. Comfort me the way he does. Make me laugh." Kiyotaka felt his face redden. This was the realization. Even though he thought he could get away from his doubt and Miu's words, he never did. They played in his head.

Chihiro walked over to his friend, a gentle smile on his face. Kneeling and sitting in front of Kiyotaka, Chihiro gave him a wider smile.

"Do you finally realize your feelings?" Chihiro asked.
