Everything seemed okay like a fine sunny day
Conversations and laughs filled the air
Upon closer inspection 'tis all fake
Clenched hands and tightly clenched jaws
Nothing seemed vaguely interesting
To chatter almost robotically
I wonder why they do these thing
If they don't like it, they say something with finality
Topics thrown about here and there
One simply refused to share
Opting the other to talk all day
Says they wouldn't have any of it if it was her way
