Katie's POV

Colby!!! Sam!!! Anyone.. please.. 

No one can hear you darling...  someone whispered. 

Who's there?! I heard a laugh. 

"KATIE WAKE UP PLEASE!!" Colby screamed as he was shaking me.

Ah ah ah not quite yet will you snap back. I'm not done with you yet..

The voice got louder and demon-like as my ears rung. Something was telling me this wasn't a dream or my imagination. Sam has been contacting what shouldn't be contacted with his paranormal shit. What if something is possessing me?

That's exactly it.. watch your friend's reaction as they figure out who this Midnight Man really is.

Back To reality...

Well  that was weird- guess it was just a panic attack or something with my imagination? Yeah that  probably it..

"Katie please," Colby cried. "Come on wake up!"  My eyes fluttered open and I noticed my vision was blurry. "Oh my God Katie.." Sam said backing away. "Wha-what's wrong.." I stuttered. "Colby did you see her eyes? They just flashed red.." Colby's jaw dropped. "Sam... what satanic game did you play last night.." Sam's eyes widened. "The Three Kings ritual with the mirrors. But you don't think they could of... because the mirrors fell..." He trailed off. "Sam, Colby, don't worry about it." I said trying to get up. "No we need to call some sort of priest or something." NO!! A voice pounded in my head. "STOP IT!!" I screamed. Sam and Colby look confused and worried. They both looked at each other than back at me, back at each other, then back at me. "We gotta do something fast." Sam said.

Later that day we had a priest come to try and scare this thing away. He made me say a few prayers and he burned sage. He recommended that Sam shouldn't play anymore games because he is contacting a world that should be left alone. I  felt a little better after he left. He instructed us to say prayers before bed so they wouldn't wander around the house all night. He prayed some sort of prayer over me that made me feel as light as a feather and blessed the house then left. 

About an hour later Colby started recording his vlog. They always involve screaming and I have no idea why... it's kinda funny though I have to admit... 

*moan coming from upstairs*

Until that happens of course... "COLE ROBERT BROCK WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR SOUL?!" I screamed while laughing.

Colby's POV

"COLE ROBERT BROCK WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR SOUL?!" I heard Katie scream and laugh from downstairs. "IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS INNOCENT CHILD!" I replied with an obnoxious voice that was full of voice cracks. I heard someone running up the stairs and Katie came bursting through the door with a loud bang. She ran right past the camera and jumped on top of me pinning me down on the couch next to my bed.  Her back was facing the camera. "Katie what are you doing?" I said laughing. "I could ask the same thing... who's up here?" She said looking around the room with a devilish smirk on her face. The closet door slowly creaked open and Corey said in a small voice, "Me why" At that exact second Katie sprang up and ran after Corey. I grabbed the camera and chased after her. Corey was screaming like a child and running around like crazy. I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt. I almost broke my camera from running into a wall and tripping over Corey's penny board. Finally Corey and Katie ran out of breath and fell on the couch laughing. I was basically rolling on the floor laughing because of Corey's screaming and weird noises. I wish Katie was always this happy. Some days she locks herself up in her room before lunch and you hear nothing from her until after dinner. A few times she forgot to lock the door and I caught her crying on here bed with her earbuds in. She was probably thinking about Chris and how stressful her past was. She hasn't opened up about it yet. I respect her privacy but I want to help her, I can't see her like that much longer. The next time she locks. herself in her room, well the guest room but she stays over so much it's basically her room, I'm gonna bust down that door and talk to her.

"Thank you so much guys for watching this crazy vlog! Next week I will introduce you to Katie," I said as I wrapped my arm around her. "We will do a Q&A and a few facts about her and how we met. Have an amazing week guys, I'll see you next week! Peace." I blew a kiss, Katie and Corey waved and I ended the vlog.

Katie's POV

I really need to call my brother. He decided to get his own apartment and I haven't heard from him since he moved out. I really hope I don't lose him. He is the only family I have left. My brother and I always fought and he used to say he hated me everyday. He most likely doesn't want to talk to me, but I'll still call him. I went to go dial his number and then I thought it would be best if I just dropped him text.

Katie: Sup bro? Haven't heard from you in a while, how are you?

about an hour later:

Damion: Life's ok I guess, I got a job as a waiter for now, I just interviewed with a medical company and they said they said  they are interested in me, but have other scheduled interviews.

Katie: That's great! What's the position?

Damion: Medical Engineer. My dream job basically :)

Katie: That's amazing!

Damion: ikr! I'm sorry but gtg some of my friends invited me to dinner.

Katie: Ok have fun!

Damion: thx luv ya

Katie: luv ya too ;)

That's surprising... I can't remember the last time he told me he loved me. I didn't notice I was crying until a tear drop fell on my phone.

"Katie! Come downstairs we wanna ask you something." Colby called out. "Ok coming!" I said sniffling. When I got downstairs Colby must of noticed I was crying because he sprang up from the couch and gave me a hug. "What's wrong?" He asked with a caring tone. It made my heart melt. I started sobbing in his shoulder. "Talk to me Katie please.. I walked in on you crying a few times while you were listening to your music. Please tell me what's wrong." I felt stupid telling him that I was crying because my brother told me he loved me so I just shook my head a brushed it off. "It's fine" I said pulling away. "What did you guys want to tell me?"  Colby seemed upset I didn't talk to him about it. Does he really care about me that much? "We were thinking you should move in with us!!" Devyn and Corey said excitedly. "Your always here anyway so it wouldn't be much of a change except," Sam said as a devilish smirk grew on his face. "YOU CAN NEVER LEAVE HAHA.... no? ok.." Sam laughed. We all laughed with him. Then there was an awkward silence for about 30 seconds. "So what do you think Colby said smiling. "Sure! I'd love to!" I smiled. Everyone was so happy, high-fiving each other and hugging me. Eventually I couldn't breathe because I was in the middle of a group hug. "Ok ok ok guys ur choking me!!" I said laughing and coughing. "Sorry about that" Sam and Kat said while chuckling. "It's ok. This is the happiest I felt in a while." And I was right. This is a moment I never want to forget. These are friends I never want to lose...
