CHAPTER 2

Alex's POV

I could hardly get any sleep last night, by the time I started feeling drowsy.....My alarm clock started ringing.

I groaned and got out of my bed. I quickly rushed towards my bathroom......quickly brushed and had a shower, then I put in my brown contact lenses , to hide my actual olivegreen eyes which were peculiar only  to  venom royals .

I had come to live in Washington with my aunt . Unlike us, they lived within the human population with several other super naturals , disguising well and in mutual harmony.

Aunt Jenny was the only relative left, she was just an absolute opposite of my momma. Unlike momma she was a brunette with gray eyes ,petite figure ....whereas my momma had wine red hair....the colour was so deep to be believed natural with hazel  eyes , she was tall and one thing that was common among both women were there stubbornness .

Dropping the thought I quickly went down stairs .

While walking to kitchen I heard becca's voice. Well Rebecca Saunders is my best and only friend since I came here. She's just like your girl next door with platinum blonde hair which cascade beautifully on her back, with the most striking pair of sapphire colour eyes.

Only she except my aunt knew my reality.

"Alex...finally you down" chirped becca . "Jeez girl what's  making you so chirpy this morning ???" I asked

"Don't you know that today the infamous Alpha of werewolves  and is coming for celebrating the renewal of our PEACE treaty??? " she squealed

" oh!....." I remarked hardly interested

" oh....???? , they say that he is like walking sex on fire" she whisper yelled

"Please  becca.....not again" I groaned, you see She's this obsession towards  this hot Alpha's  and then let's not talk about her wild imagination.

"Duh!....you are no fun Alex" she said while pouting her lips .

"Alex......becca, girls get your lazy arses up and start helping in decorating the ballroom" aunt Jenny said while putting her hands on her hips.

"Alright.....we just going Jenny" said becca.

After what seemed like an eternity, the ballroom was decorated with flowers , and other decoratives.  Then we went to my room and started getting ready for the party.

I wore an emerald colour long gown with a slit on its left side which reached till my mid thigh. It was strapless with a sweetheart neck line. I styled my hair in a stylish messy bun and let some flicks of my deep red hair fall on my face. I kept my makeup minimum by putting just a eyeliner and mascara on my eyes and adding a nude lip gloss to my full cherry lips. Lastly I strapped my golden stilettos  with a gold bracelet to complete my look.

Becca looked equally pretty in her black halter neck gown which was backless. She styled her hair in a side braid and added a crimson colour lipstick to her lips after applying few coats of mascara to highlight her eyes. She wore beautiful diamond earrings and a nude strappy stilettos to complete her look.

After giving a final glance of approval. We walked to the ballroom where the reunion was held in
