Anna's P.O.V.

To: Emma

I can't believe you told him where we keep the spare key

I heard a car horn honk from outside. Assuming the honk was Austin coming to pick me up, I put my phone in my purse and walked outside.

As Austin started up the truck and backed out of my driveway, I sat in the passenger seat looking around awkwardly. "Take a picture Princess, it will last longer."

"Austin you wanted me to go on this date with you, so the least you can do is be a gentleman." "But gentlemen are boring." He pouted. "Gentlemen, don't have to be boring, and where are we going anyways?"

"Princess you do trust me right?" "Not really." "Do you trust Emma?" "Yeah I guess." "Then you will like our surprise destination and that is all I am telling you."

We drove for about five more minutes before we pulled into a parking lot that was very familiar. "Really Austin? No one has gone to the roller skating rink since we were kids." "Well Dan and I have rented it out for the next hour, so I guess you are going to have to suck it up."

-------------------------

"Are you sure you haven't been here since you were a kid?" Austin, out of breath, asked from behind me. "Oops I most of forgot to tell Austin you could have been an Olympic figure skater." Emma laughed from beside me and I turned to high five her, no longer mad at her for telling Austin were I keep the spare key.

"Well ladies it is time to move on to our next location." Dan glanced down out his watch to check the time. "What next location? Dan you didn't tell me about this!" Emma screamed hitting Dan's arm.

"Um, it looks like you two need some alone time, so I am going to go with Anna to the next location." Austin stuttered out, clearly not used to how often Dan and Emma fight. I grabbed Austin's hand as we walked out of the roller skating rink. It wasn't like we were anything official yet or that he even knew how I felt about him, but Austin put the effort into planning this date, so I'm not going to be rude to him.

----------------------------

"Austin I'm not supposed to be here" "Oh relax we aren't going where you think we are going." Austin had pulled into the skate park's parking lot, a place that I definitely should not be.

"If we aren't going to the skate park then where are we going?" "Relax just trust me." He said while grabbing my hand.

Austin led me across the street to the lake where I saw a picnic set up. "I hope this is okay Princess." "It's beautiful Austin," I said sitting down on the blanket. "Do you know how long it will be before Emma and Dan get here?" He asked.

"Oh they are probably making out somewhere, so probably not for a while."

"Oh, well okay then."

"Hey Austin come skate with us." A boy shouted at Austin while passing by on a skateboard. "No Spencer, can't you see I'm on a date with this pretty girl." I blushed at the compliment Austin had given me.

"No it's fine I want to watch you skate." "Are you sure? You aren't supposed to be over there."

"Austin, man, you're whipped just grab your board." The guy named Spencer hollered. "Yeah Austin I'll be fine." I nodded, smiling at him encouragingly.

Austin grabbed my hand and ran to his truck, and I laughed as I followed behind him. He grabbed his board from the rear and headed towards the skate park. "You're sure you want to watch this Princess? I don't have a helmet." "Yeah just be careful." I wasn't going to admit to him that I was nervous about this, but my instincts were telling me that Austin riding his board without a helmet wasn't a good idea.

Austin jumped on his board and started to grind on the railing. He neared the end of the railing and went for a 360 rotation. I watched in slow motion as he lost his footing and fell to the ground. I ran over to him immediately because he wasn't moving.

"Austin please be okay. I'm starting to realize you aren't so bad, so you have to be okay." I leaned down kissing him on the cheek, tears starting to form in my eyes. "Relax Princess I'm fine it was just a little spill." Austin opened his eyes slowly sitting up.

"Oh god I thought you were hurt." He leaned in slowly, closing the distance between us, looking me in the eyes and giving me the chance to pull away if I wanted to. Instead of pulling away I leaned into him too as our lips joined together. I heard the cat calls from the other skaters around us, but I didn't care I just smiled into the kiss feeling extremely happy.

I pulled away from the kiss, smiling wide, I have to say that for my first kiss that was pretty amazing. "Wow Princess that was amazing." "Yeah," I replied still in shock.

"Why don't we get you home now Princess before your family comes back?" "Yeah that's a good idea." I stuttered.

---------------------------------

We pulled into my driveway right after my family. "Oh gosh we are so screwed Austin." "Don't worry Princess I will take full responsibility for this."

"Anna why is this boy in our house when I specifically told you not to talk to him!" My mom screamed. "I'm sorry Mrs. Brown, but I don't think we have actually meet, my name is Austin Taylor." Austin stuck out his hand for a handshake. "Honey this young man seems like a nice kid." My dad, the voice of reason in these times, argued with my mother while shaking Austin's hand.

"Mom I know this might come as a shock to you, but believe it or not people aren't defined by one characteristic." "Mrs. Brown I know this isn't my place, but I can assure you I come from a good family and that I am a proper gentleman."

"Sweetheart you need to let it go." My dad said slowly pushing Austin towards the door, "It was a pleasure meeting you Austin, but I think you should probably go now." "Bye Anna I had a good time with you." Austin shouted over his shoulder before my dad could slam the door in his face.

How was the rest of the date?

To:Emma

We might have sort of kissed?

"You what?" Emma practically screamed walking through my door. "If you were in my house why were you texting me?" "Don't avoid the question, Anna Lillian Brown what happened on your date?"

"I think the better question is what happened with you and Dan?" I wiggled my eyebrows suggestively. "Anna I'm going to smack you! Now what happened with Austin?"

"Can't you read? We kissed." "Anna you got your first kiss and you didn't tell me right away?!"

"Emma it's not that big of a deal." I sighed, "And besides I didn't think it was that important anyways."

"Listen I know that me being with Dan lately makes you think that whatever you are dealing with isn't important, but your first kiss is a big deal. Now tell me what happened."

"So we were at the park and then we went over to the skate park." "What you went to the skate park?" "Do you want to hear the story or not? Don't interrupt."

I always dreamt of being a princess, and in his mind I am a princess, and just maybe Austin will be my hero.
