After all I've seen
After all that's been
Been wondering why
Been thinking carefully
Carefully watching
Cautiously deliberating
Deliberating about humans
Deliberating everything
Everything on earth below
Everything they fear
Fear to look up
Fear about clouds so gray
Gray clouds I carry
Gray as I rain here
Here far above
Here so intimidating
Intimidating in my scope
Intimidating and juxtaposed
Juxtaposed to the earth
Juxtaposed to what they know
Know they seem small
Know how stressful they live
Live out their lives
Live without being mindful
Mindful of me
Mindful of nature
Nature of mankind
Nature of obsession
Obsession with the small
Obsession with the petty
Petty in their grudges
Petty and never quiet
Quiet so they can hear
Quiet to relax
Relax and see me
Relax under their sky
Sky is my name
Sky open and true
True to the earth
True to all underneath
Underneath my protection
Underneath but valued
Valued so greatly
Valued so well
Well look up simple humans
Well by your x-ray
X-ray your heats
X-ray yourselves
Yourselves in your living
Yourselves in your zoo
Living
