Chapter 26:Late night

I felt a heavy weight on my back and I raised from a tiring position. I saw white walls and arose , cracking my back. I noticed a hand clutching my hand , getting a bit scared I jumped up. I looked down , I was sitting on a hospital chair , my head was rested on Aiden arm. Aiden was looking straight at me with a sad smile . He looked defeated and down but he smiled at me.

Taking his hands in between my hands I placed soft kisses around his knuckles.

"How are you doing?" He stretched his arm slowly and slowly brought my face to his. His lips kissed mine with slow pace but with passion. A lone tear fell out of my eyes breaking our kiss. He just put our forehead together and started say something but nothing came out.

"Don't speak. I understand".He just gave me a quite nod and looked down at me. I grabbed his hand and slowly put it on my belly. I waited for the moment and bam ,he kicked. Aiden eyes lit up bright and he smirked at my belly. He gave me a thumbs up and rubbed my belly in circles.

After a few some moments, he pulls his arm back and just nods his head to the ceiling. I clutched him once more until the nurse comes in. She gives us a sad smile and looks at me "well he has a broken leg, as you can tell, and he broken knee. He will have a cast and won't be able to do much for at 2 months. Aiden you are on complete bed rest. This means no exercising , no swimming etc. " I look down to avoid his crushed face. I wave to her to leave and she scurries away.

He starts to break down cursing to the wind" why god , why now! I just want to be with you and our child".

I Kissed his cheek and just looked down upset. he is right ,we will be missing a lot. He will be in and out of bed, wheelchair or crutches. He seemed broken,too sad to speak.

"Aiden we will be fine,we always have". It was a moment of silence as he was thinking . I knew I couldn't take care of a broken Aiden and a new born all by myself. I think I should call my dad , Nicklaus will help but nicklaus can only do so much.

"What are thinking baby". I just gave him a smile as he tried to smirk. " should my dad come to help me for a while? I mean Nicklaus is there but..." He just gave me a thumbs down , stopping the conversation. "I don't want you dad seeing me , I am too weak to protect his daughter".

Enough of this " Aiden your Mom broke your leg , that is f*#ked up ! That isn't normal , she is is f*#king insane! I LOVE YOU, now stop with this" I stood up and stood above him. Our eyes meet , hot tears were falling quicker than ever.

"I'm sorry beautiful , don't cry".

"You upset me Aiden, I mean come on baby".

We just look at each other until he looks away. I pull up his blanket and looked at his leg. The cast was traveled all the way up too his thigh. His thigh was full of scratches and bruises, while his other leg is full of purple circles, this must of been when he fell down.

I called Aiden attorney yesterday and he said that Aiden mom is pleading guilty on insanity. Bull crap she is insane because she didn't get what she wanted that is it. There is no way that she didn't know what she was doing? But we will just have to wait. I looked at a sleepy Aiden, and left the room with him snoring. Time to figure out what I will do .

As soon as I got back from the store , the doctor said I could take my man home. I smiled at him and walked up to Aiden room, wheelchair on hand.

Aiden was still asleep so i shook him, he groaned but saw the wheelchair.

"Let's go home baby".

"Alright".

Nicklaus helped Aiden in the chair and he pushed him out. Out of embarrassment , he had his hands covering his face. It was sad to see him like that but also amusing. We made it to the car and I felt my stomach. My baby was kicking like crazy , I bet he is hungry.
