The Party

Alexia POV
"Alexia get up princess!" My dad yelled. Ugh....I didn't want to get up tonight is my party and I am not looking forward to it. tonight packs from all around the states are coming to honor my dad and to present their sons to me to see if I find my mate. I do not want a mate, I do not want my life to end for someone to expect me just to sit back while all the decisions are made on my life , yes you heard right my life. I finally pulled my feet over the edge of the bed and began to stand up stretching. I guess I will get this over with, i take a shower and get dressed then finishing my hair I head down stairs. "good morning lex" my oldest brother, Greyson yelled from across the room. Greyson is going to be the next Alpha after my dad steps down he is 6'4 with golden hair and golden eyes I like to call him golden boy. next to him is Mark he's the same height as Greyson but he has dark dirty blond hair and green eyes he's 19 and finally there is my best friend in the whole world Jamie he's 18 and he's my older brother too but he has blond hair and blue eyes and then there's me 5'9 slinger blond headed girl with icy blue eyes. Scowling at everyone as I walk in Jamie grabbed my hand , "it's not going to be that bad, I promise" yanking my hand back "how would you know you get to stay here no one is trying to give you away" I don't see why my father can't wait until after I shift he wants me to find my mate I do not need a mate to complete me. "Lex do you want me to go with you to get your dress?" my father inquires. Glaring I replied "sure why don't we pick a dress for my funeral as well?" scowling he grabbed his keys and we left. Once we got to the mall we started searching for the dress after three hours looking and not having any luck finding it I elbowed my dad and replied "see this is an omen dad I'm not supposed to find a mate this is going to be a disaster." my dad chuckled, "you know if we don't find you a dress then you can always dress to impress in your birthday suit" he replied smirking. "oh yes dad throw your only daughter to all the unmated Wolves in the pack really going for father of the year now aren't we?" dad just tighter his lips and rolled his eyes
Finally we walked into this one store and after walking around I finally found a lilac dress that I liked and would work with my complexion
Dad smirked "see no birthday suit after all"

After taking yet another shower I started getting ready curling my hair and putting on make up and then light jewelry and dress I head down stairs and see all the boys all dressed up and my father dressed up. "ready for the big show?" my dad ask
Mumbling I reply "as I will ever be" as o said those words I started feeling terrible my stomach started cramping and I fall to the floor. bones cracking and I'm getting slightly shorter when I start freaking out. obviously the boys can hear my thoughts now because they are all laughing their butts off "calm down lex, you just shifted" Jamie said in between laughs. "boys go get the camera, I want to take pictures of your sisters first shift!!" My dad freaking said in amazement. right this is just great he wants to take pictures and get all dad mode when I just ruined an afternoon of shopping a new dress and obviously I did not want to go through with the party. after the pictures were taken and I went and got ready once again and this time in a red floor length dress.with beading and once again I did my make up and hair and left to downstairs, let the party begin.
After my father introducing me I walked around and I started looking for it. finally I spotted what I had been looking for the whole time and there it sat in all its glory, I knew it was mine as soon as I laid eyes on it, the last piece of chocolate cake. walking to the table to grab my cake someone took it. as someone took MY cake I started smelling something intoxicating.
