Evan's POV
We were sitting at lunch, eating our food and waiting for Connor to show up.
"Hey, there's Stone Henge now!" Jared called to Connor who walked in and plopped down next to us.
Connor was know for being composed of only two things: anger and ice.

I have never seen him smile, I've never seen him nervous, I've never seen him anything but calm, and angry.
Even when he faces the terrifying moment of the teacher calling on you, he simply says,
"I don't know the answer."
And continues to work on whatever he's doing.
It's miraculous.
That's why Jared calls him Stone Henge.
Because he basically just a giant block of stone.

"S... so I uh... what are you guys doing this weekend?" I asked.
Jared shrugged and Connor kept his eyes down.
"Fixing up my truck." He mumbled.

I sighed, leaning on my hand and picking at my SunButter and jelly sandwich.
I had been hoping to hang out with someone this weekend, and-
Oh, Connor's leaving again.

But just as he stood up and turned around he ran straight into a girl, knocking over her lunch tray.
She fell to the floor and he looked down.
"Oh, I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention."
He mumbled, helping her up.
Then I saw it, the moment we thought was impossible, completely ridiculous.

Connor got flustered.
They made eye contact, and Connor's face went red, his eyes widened, his shoulders became rigid, and he cleared his throat uncomfortably.
Oh... my...goodness lord in heaven amen.
Connor Stone Henge Murphy is flustered.

"It's okay." The girl smiled.
She was very attractive, I had to say.
"Heh, I-I, uh..." he just kept staring at her, not letting go of her hand.
"Oh! Let me buy you a lunch. F-for, you know, uh... spi...spilling your's."
She smiled bashfully.
"Oh, no it's fine you don't have to-"
"I want to. If... if you'd let me."

She nodded and they walked off towards the cafeteria line.
I turned to Jared, my jaw still hanging open in shock. He looked about the same.
"Stone Henge just got nervous." He mumbled.
"Yah..." I watched the two of them in line.
They were laughing about something, and her hand came down on his arm and he froze up, a situation I find myself in often.
"Who knew all it took was a girl to break him!"

We laughed and continued to watch their talking, which was rather humorous.
I had never seen Connor flustered in my life, and it was hilarious. Is that mean? Oops.
But it really was funny.
No, I think that's mean, I'm sorry.

Finally they waved 'bye' to each other and he came and sat down at our table looking dazed.
"Connor? You still alive in there?" Jared smirked.
Connor seemed to not even hear him.
"Connor I thought y... you were leaving."
He snapped out and stared between us, his tough demeanor slightly coming together.
"Y...yah. I'll uh, see you guys later."

And with that he walked out of the cafeteria.
Was that girl a witch?
A sorcerer?
Magician?
I don't know but Jared was already getting up to go talk to her, I think I'll follow him.

Connor's POV
Oh my god, I'm in love.
I have never felt emotion like this.
I've always loved the ice block around my heart, I've been so attached to the comfort of not having to show emotions because feelings are crap.
But I've never felt feelings like this. This was amazing, absolute air.

Like my heart was filling up and rising out of my chest, like how you feel when you fill up your ice cream punchcard or your battery is at 100%.

I don't think I've felt this happy in a long time. Like I physically felt happier.
I didn't think that was possible.
But her I am, happily stumbling down the hallways to my car, already wanting to see her again. She was just a girl. Just a girl.
I didn't think just any girl could make me feel this way.
But... she was more than that, I guess.
God feelings are amazing.
I gotta start getting high on this stuff!
