Few months later

"Be fast! We're already late!" Layla yelled at the make up artists, who were giving us a makeover for our graduation ceremony.

"Almost done ma'am" her artist who was looking already frustrated from all the yelling, replied.

I was already dressed in my Gold dress and pumps. My hair was already in a beautiful high ponytail.

Lord know how excited I am to graduate from college. Now life begins.

After what felt like days, the makeup artists were done.
Boy...I couldn't stop looking at the mirror. I look fantastic.

Our boyfriends were already waiting for us.
As we walked out, there sat; Alexander, Kevin, William and Korey

"Whoa" Kevin gasped, eliciting giggles from us.

"You guys look.....you look....wonderful"  Korey complimented
"Thank you" we said in unison

"Can we go now? Stop looking at us like we are some sort of weird aliens that fell from space" Riley said after some minutes of the guys, checking us out. She walked over to Kevin and they headed out.

After everyone was out, Alex made his way to me, he was only few inches from me, when he leaned down, I closed my eyes, thinking he was about to kiss me."You look breathtaking" He brushed his lips on my ear, causing a chill down my spine.

"You look delicious, my love" I smiled. "Come on, let's go" I entwined our fingers and we made our way out, to meet the others.

"What took you guys so long" Everly raised a brow. I opened my mouth to speak but Layla beat me to it.
"Probably, they had some quick make out session" she winked at me. I could hear giggles from the rest "You know its not easy to keep your hands from yourself when you're with a scrumptious human being" she looked up at Korey like she was going to eat him up. I decided to cut short their intense moment, before they get it down right here on the driveway.

"Okay, okay, that's enough. Can we go now? We're already thirty minutes late" I said as I walked to Alex's car and he opened the door for me to get in. I threw a glance at Layla and she rolled her eyes.
If I hadn't interrupted, Layla being Layla, wouldn't mind fucking him right there and right now.

"Aria, my child" Mum pulled me into a hug. "Can't believe you've gotten your degree already. I can still remember how you normally ran around the house with cotton candies when you were younger"
Behind her was dad, with a soft smile playing on his lips.

"Papa" I walked towards him and embraced him.

"My big princess" he chuckled. "Congrats. I'm so happy for you"

"Thank you Papa"

I was more than glad to see my family again. Everyone was so happy and so was I.

I finally have my degree and I'm so happy. I will be the doctor I've always dreamt of becoming. What always motivated me was my grandma's favorite line.

“You owe it to yourself to become everything you've ever dreamed of becoming”

"Girls! Let's take a picture. It'll last longer" Layla yelled and we all ran towards her and posed for the camera. We did crazy poses, we laughed, we danced and so on.

After the party, we had our special afterparty. We talked about how we've helped each other, the beginning of our friendship, I the up and downs, the sad moments, and especially the happy moments.
Seeing all my friends now, I feel like it'll be the last time we'll ever be together like this. When we all go our different ways and separate, we'll barely have time to spend with each other.

"I love Layla's vibe, I think we all do" Riley finished her speech. Each person was to go to the stage and say good things about another, Riley was the second, Everly was first.

"Y'all love me biashh!" Layla yelled, clapping her hands like a toddler that was gifted with a biscuit.

"Shut up Layla. Sit down" Everly  chuckled.

"Yes mom" Layla swiftly obeyed.

"It your turn Nora" we all said, looking at her.
She said something in between the lines of 'fine, I'm going' as she lazily got up of the couch.

"I've always love all my friends, Aria, Eve, Riley and Layla. You've stood by me through my roughest times, you guys never made me feel like an oddball and uh.....I just love you all" she grinned and everyone was like 'aww'

It was Layla's turn to speak now.
"Yo! Y'all know it your girl Lala" she laughed
Typical Layla never takes things serious. I rolled my eyes.

"Okay. I guess it's time to get serious and professional" she sighed. "Y'all know I love you right? And I'll always do....I'll start with Riley. She's been so nice, she's like my bestest best friend (if there's any word of such) and She never let's me feel lonely. Now unto Everly, she's like everyone's mum, she protects me, gives me the best advice...all of us actually, she usually knocks sense into my head when I start acting stupid. Nora, she's one of the rarest creatures, she's always calm, she's taught me how to stay calm even in tough situations, her charming voice and all makes her unique. Finally, my dearest, dearest Aria" she faked a sob. "I love you so fucking much. You've always stood by me, you care for all your friends, you have a heart of gold. I swear I'll miss you guys" she smiled, as she dropped the mic and walked off the stage. All eyes turned to me.

"Go Ari" Riley yelled.

I walked up stage, I couldn't contain my happiness.
"I don't even know where to start from. We've been friends for so long and we're practically sisters. I love each and every one of you, I don't...I don't think I'll be able to stop if I start talking about you guys. You all are amazing, the best friends one could ever dream of. I never thought I'll be lucky enough to find friends who will love me for who I am and not what I have, every morning I wake up, I feel blessed and happy to have such wonderful girls I can boldly call friends. You all are like my lifeline. Even though we all have our ups and downs, we still find a way to fix it. We're about going our  separate ways to start our lives, but that doesn't mean our friendship would break. Wherever you go, just know someone in this part of the world named Aria Yvette Belleville Loves you" At this point, I was a sobbing mess.

I had always wished to graduate sooner or later, but I never thought it'll be so soon. We haven't even parted yet and I'm already missing my friends.

"You just had to make everyone cry huh?" Layla sobbed. We all shared a group hug.
"I'll miss you all. I swear" Eve sobs lightly.

We drank, played games and so on. I didn't take hard drinks though, I had flashbacks to the last time I did and I promised myself I wouldn't do that anymore.
Like usual, all my friends were high. They were all in the dance floor, grinding their guys, meanwhile I was playing a game with Alex.

"Aria...come dance with us! Quit being boring" Riley yelled, in her drunken voice. I couldn't help but laugh. They are all funny whenever they're drunk.

"What's funny? Come let's grind each other" Eve added.

Wow! She's seriously drunk too.

"No I'm good" I raised my hands in surrender. I felt the urge to pee, so I excused myself and made my way to the restroom. On my way, I walked passed a door and what I heard was out of place. They was banging, yells, moans, laughter? Who are those? Should I see for myself? No I won't pry...I won't pry. I mentally advice myself.

As I continued walking, I heard a familiar voice.
"Korey! Ah! Mhmm..."

Layla.

I smirked to myself.
Those two never cease to amaze me.

The party was over, and we all said our goodbyes and headed home.

Finally, I'm a Graduate!
Yayy!!
