my best friend Lindsey singed/screamed loudly as I walked through the door of our apartment .
I walked through the living room cringing at her voice , She clearly had headphones in . I walked into her room and just as I suspected she had headphones in .
" Lin ! " I yelled
she didn't even notice me standing there .
"LINDSEY!" I yelled again.
No response whatsoever .
I turned and picked up a bottle of mascara off of her dresser and threw it at her head .
She jumped , tore her headphones out , and turned to face me with huge eyes .
" You almost gave me a heart attack laur ! "
I laughed , and shook my head .
she stood up and walked over to me .
" How was work ? "
I smirked . " Lovely " I said sarcastically .
" Because making coffee all day without being able to have a sip of any is so amazing ."
She just laughed .
" Did you check the mail by any chance ? " I asked .
she gave a sheepish grin .
" maybe. and I have amazing news!" i have an exasperated sigh " oh jolly "
She grimaced at me . " Okay , okay . What is it ? " I asked , I actually really wanted to know .
She smiled a smile that reached her eyes .
" I WON ! " I thought for a moment , " you won what exactly lin ? "
She sighed and threw her hands in the air .
" I won the contest ! Ya know ! The one that I told you if I won I would get to go a five seconds of summer concert ? Yea that one !!!! , And I might or might not have entered you to ." she just grinned .
" Lin! You know that I don't even like them . " I said
" I know . but think of it like this . we won and its tomorrow night and I need you to go Lauren its a one in a lifetime chance ! "
She gave me the puppy face .
" Pretty pleeeeeeeaaassee laurrryyy "
I thought for a minute .
I mean I honestly don't like them at all . They're a little cute but I personally think their music sucks ass .
" Fine . Just because I love you . but your making dinner for a week then . "
She thought for a minute . " Deal. but tonight you have to make it . " And before I could say another word she stuck her tongue out at me and slammed her bedroom door .
"Okay." I muttered as I walked away to the kitchen to make dinner as I heard a soft ' click ' signaling that she locked her door .
I just chuckled .
