"Oh, a little feisty, aren't we?"

The guy grabbed my waist and I punched him in the jaw. I'm really a hot head, and when a guy puts a hand on me, the hot head in me will come out and beat the shit out of him. Why was I cursed with these good looks? Ever since I was in third grade, I had guys coming after me and send me gifts and shit. At first, I thought it was really sweet, but it is fucking annoying!!! I changed my act from girly girl and being sweet to rebel and not give a shit about things. But it didn't help me when guys look at me and girls from being jealous of me.

The only person that doesn't fall for my looks is my Jalen. Well, yeah, he's not a person, but he protects me from guys that try to flirt with me. After I knocked the guy out, Jalen growled at him and I tugged lightly on the leash and he followed me. I pushed my black hair behind my ears and hummed to the song Hero by Mariah Carrey. I heard glass shattering at the alley way and I felt someone covering my mouth and pulled me into the dark.

Jalen barked at the person that grabbed me, but I saw a little dart was shot on his neck and he fell to the ground. I muffled a scream and I heard two guys talking as I tried to get out of his grip.

"She looks hot for a kid."

"Looks like she could be 16."

"How much would someone pay for a girl like this?"

"A ton, maybe. I bet guys will have a lot of fun with her."

I stopped struggling and I couldn't believe what they were saying. They wanted to sell my body just so they could get money. They dragged me towards a van and I struggled as best as I could with little success. They almost pushed me into a van until I felt the guy that was holding me let go. I turned around and I saw two big dark figures beating the two guys up. Then one of the dark figures yelled at me.

"Don't just stand there, girl!!! Run!!!"

I stood there and I looked around. I found a led pipe and I smashed it on the two guys' head and they fell to the ground. I looked at my Jalen, and I ran towards him. I saw that he was still breathing and relief washed through me. I looked up and I saw two huge turtles. One had a purple bandana and another with a lab coat, yellow gloves and a pair of goggles around his head. I stared at them for what seemed like hours and I blacked out.

*Hours Later*

I woke up with two girls yelling at each other and I opened my eyes to a pair of blue eyes. I screamed and I saw a turtle with an orange bandana was screaming too. I looked around and I saw a two more turtles with a blue bandana and a red bandana. I looked behind them and I saw a huge rat was sitting down on a chair. I looked the opposite direction and I saw a girl with black hair and green eyes and another girl with red hair and hazel eyes. I heard a sneeze under me and I looked to the ground and saw Jalen looking up at me with concerned eyes.

"You OK?" asked the girl with the black hair.

"Y-yeah.....um.....what's your name?"

"My name's Audra."

"And I'm Makenna." replied the other girl. "And these turtles are Raph, Leo, and Mikey. The two turtles that brought you here were Don and Slash. The alligator is Leatherhead, and the rat over there is Splinter. What's your name?"

"Um....I'm Adonis. And my dog's name is Jalen."

"Doesn't that mean goddess of love?"

I looked at Audra and I gave her a confused look. I never knew what my name meant ever since I was a little girl. When Audra told me about the meaning of my name, I finally knew why so many guys tried to pick me up. But it still didn't make any sense to me. Why me? I got down from the couch and laid my head on Jalen's back as the guys turned on TV and put on a Batman movie. I watched with the others, already getting used to them and I saw the two that are named Slash and Leatherhead left the lair, as the turtles would call it, after saying goodbye. I felt sleep taking over me and I felt Jalen muzzling my face and we both fell into darkness.
