Chapter 25- Truths

"So you've always been able to use magic?" Fire asked.

Jade smiled and nodded her head as she laughed. "Yep for as long as I can remember anyways."

Fire smiled at the sorceress and nodded her head in reply. "Okay that's so cool."

"Not as cool as what you do! You can create fire and stuff! Have you always been able to do that?" Jade asked curiously.

Fire sat there in thought. Deciding to tell the truth or a lie was difficult. Finally she went with the truth. "I've always been able to do it. I just noticed it more when I was 5" Fire grinned.

"Was General Sky a good big brother?"

"Well I can't really comment on that. He didn't really care about me. Still probably doesn't."

"Oh I'm sure he does." Jade smiled reasuringly.

Fire shook her head and her smile slipped from her face. What was she doing here... Her Army was waiting for her back at home and she needed to get back to them!

"So what happens to me and wonder next?" Fire asked curiously.

"I honestly don't know. That you'll have to ask Deadlox or General Sky himself" Jade said. "Sorry."

"It's fine" It wasn't fine.

Fire was deep in thought as they sat in silence.

"How are you?" Jade broke the silence.

"I'm fine" Fire wasn't fine.

"Come on Fire. Don't you want to stay here with us? Your friends?" Jade stood up and walked over to the window and looked out of it.

"No. You guys are not my friends. My friend is Wonder and the people in my army. You're just part of the enemy" Fire growled.

"Alright then. GoodBye Fire" And Jade teleported away back to Seto

Fire wasn't the only one who was curious about what was going to happen next. Wonder walked around with her captor, Mitch.

"What'll happen to us next Mitch?" She asked uncertainly.

Mitch looked uncomfortable and shifted his weight alittle onto his left side as he stopped. "I'm not too sure. It depends on what you want to happen."

"Oh"

They continued walking around the massive grounds in silence untill Wonder brought it up again.

"What do you want to happen Mitch?" She questioned.

"Well I want everyone to be happy. That's all anyone needs right? I mean I want you to be happy."

"Yeah that's a good response. But why me?" Wonder stopped and stood there. "Why do you want your enemy to be happy?"

"Like I said before WonderStyle, you're not my enemy personally. You're sky's enemy. But you know what they say... Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" Mitch responded.

"When did anyone say that?" She laughed. Mitch shrugged his shoulders and walked on a little leaving the girl standing there.

"Mitch. What if I don't want to go home?"

He turned back to her and blinked in suprise.

"What if I don't want to leave because my heart wants me to stay because of someone?"

"Oh you want to stay because of Jason. Well I don't know" Mitch snapped. He knew it was too good to be true. I couldn't get to her quick enough and now her hearts been snatched away he thought.

"What?" Wonder said shocked. "I don't want to stay because of Jason."

"Then why do you want to stay Water Girl? Because other then that you sure as hell don't have a good enough reason to stay!" He yelled furiously.

"I want to stay because of you!" She yelled in return.

She stood there breathing heavily as she stared at him. "Yeah that's right Mitch. You've captured my heart. Ir at least I thought you had. I'm honestly not to sure any more."

Mitch blinked. He stood there and stared at her. Opening his mouth to speak... it was too late.

Wonder turned around and ran off. A single tear splashing to the ground.
