"So tell me again why do I have to go out with you?" I scoff looking at Lexi.
"Because Ant... I want Joey, and we all know you want Ophelia." She smirks.
"First of all only my FRIENDS call me Ant, also why do you want him so much after he's played you numerous times?" I smirk myself.
She rolls her eyes, "because I just do!"
"Whatever." I scoff.
"Anyways you ready to go?" She asks.
"I guess..."
I lead her out to my car and speed off toward the restaurant Lexi requested.
We arrive and I give the valet guy my keys.
Lexi sends him a wink.
Such a whore.
We walk into the restaurant and I realize why Lexi wanted to come so badly.
In the corner sits my former friend group.
And in the middle of the restaurant sits Ophelia...
And Joey.
The bruises on my face ache at the look of him.
Ophelia sees me and we make eye contact.
Her ocean blue eyes are filled with hurt and confusion.
Lexi grabs my hand when she realizes Joey sees us.
His face is just shocked no pain.
We get led to our table which unfortunately isn't set too far away from them.
"Ugh what does he see in her? She's just a little virgin bitch!" Lexi whispers.
I roll my eyes, "Lexi can't you see it? He likes Ophelia not you! And yes I lost her because I let my feelings get in the way of our friendship! What I did was low, what's lower is I'm sat here at a table with a whore like you!"
I didn't realize how loud I was until I see the entire restaurant staring at me.
Even Ophelia.
God how much I wish I could kiss her right now.
But I can't because her heart is in another place and I need to understand that
"Fuck you Anthony!" Lexi's voice cracks.
"Right back at you!" I storm out of the restaurant Lexi hot on my trail.
"Why'd you do that?" She whines
"God i hate you so much Lexi! They are happy, move on!"
I get my car from the valet guy and drive off.
The silhouette of the restaurant disappears from sight.
I left Lexi.
I left Ophelia.
She's happy...
I'll become happy...
