chapter 9

YESUNG POV

I opened my eyes slowly. I wanted to sit up but i felt a hand on me. I turned around to see heechul on my bed. I moved a bit and he woke up.

Once he saw me,he started crying loudly and hugged me. I hugged him back without knowing why he is crying.

I aksed heechul" What is wrong?" Heechul smacked my arm" Why didnt you tell me you have laryngeal cancer? I saw your medicines and letter from the hospital."

I looked down and started sobbing. I said" I cant take it. Singing is my life. Without my voice,i cant live." I leaned on heechul's shoulder as i felt tired after crying.

Heechul said" Tonight,you are eating with us. Do not eat alone. I am scared Something will happen to you." I shook my head and reassured him before i lay on my bed again.

Soon,there was a knock on my door. It was leeteuk. He said" Both of you come out now. It is dinner time." We nodded and headed out the room. Ryeowook placed my food on the kitchen table and said" Yesung-ah,come here and eat.

I cooked more food for you today. You need more nutrients because you fainted." I bowed and said a word thank you. However,i still brought my food to my room to eat.

LEETEUK POV

I sighed as i saw yesung refuse to eat with us. I said to the members" Tomorrow,we are going to ask yesung's friend about yesung when they were in university. "

All of them nodded. After we finished our food,i went to yesung's room. He was in his room,sleeping. His finished food was on the table. I took it out and washed it.

Soon,it is midnight. I couldnt fall asleep for some reasons. I searched online for reasons why you suddenly sleep alot. One of the reasons shocked me. It read " It means death is approaching."

I shook my head non-stop. Jungwoon wont die at age 35,it is too young. Suddenly,i saw heechul coming out oft he room. When he saw me, he aksed" Jungsoo,what are you doing?"

I said" Heechul,these few days yesung has been sleeping alot of times. Do you think death is approaching him?" Heechul only looked away and walked to the kitchen and started sobbing. He nodded.

~the next day~

YESUNG POV

I was woken up by heechul. He told me to change my shirt and he went to his car and told me to enter. He drove to the seou international hospital.

I had my blood taken to test and was told to return 2 days later to collect the result.

~2 days later~

The doctor i met is the same doctor. He asked" So your sickness got found out by heechul?" He asked while staring at heechul. I nodded.

Next,the doctor said" Yesung-shi,sadly you are not only diagnosed with laryngeal cancer,but also..."
