AVENGERS TOWER, AN HOUR LATER
"Alright, so what are your names?" Steve asked Luna and Cheri.
Do we tell them? Luna sought Cheri's advice.
Let's go with our fake names for now. Don't wanna blow it, Cheri replied.
"My name is Cora," Cheri answered.
"And I'm Lucy," Luna answered also.
"Are you new here?" Tony asked, "You didn't seem to recognize us at all in that restaurant."
"I thought I've seen you guys somewhere," Luna answered calmly, "But I wasn't sure."
"Me too," Cheri added, "We lived pretty far away."
"Where did you live?" Tony asked.
"Japan," Cheri replied.
"Britain," Luna answered.
"So then how'd you guys meet?" Steve inquired.
"We went to the same school, ran into each other one day, and became friends," Cheri answered.
"Are you strong enough to watch your own backs?" Natasha asked.
"Yes," Luna replied, starting to grow tired of the Avengers' questions.
"How'd you guys run into each other?" Tony asked.
"Banana peels," Cheri simply said.
"Excuse me?" Bruce replied.
"Apparently," Cheri started, "people do not know how to throw away their banana peels properly-"
"I know right?" Luna butted in, "So annoying!"
"Anyway," Cheri continued, "I nearly broke my neck if it wasn't for Lucy here breaking my fall."
"Yeah," Luna said, "But you gotta admit, it was pretty close."
"Still," Cheri seemed to reply, "I feel bad for the cat."
"Pfft," Luna sighed, "Come on! For Mrs. Norris? She's the worst cat I've ever seen, spying on students when they're just going about their day."
"Where's Nat?" Someone asked. They all looked around, Luna spotting her going into a room.
