The Warriors
Ahh the most common and well known one. The OG alongside the Wizard. The Warrior is well the sword and shield of the group. They are the jack of all trades in all things physical.
Those who trudge in the ever-splitting road of fighting will realise that they are used to most types of armour and their shields never falter under heavy pummeling. Their grip upon simple weaponry such as swords, daggers, polearms etc are often strong and while crossbows and bows aren't their forte, Warriors dapple in the skill. Warriors are usually bigger in size and has more strength than the other classes. They usually wield a shield and sword during battle and are the front liners.
Although they are a generalist first and foremost, Warriors almost always have a fighting style they prefer. Whether it be lancing foes atop a horse or slicing sushi with daggers, the Warrior is a useful person to have by your side.
The Wizards
The studious and definitely most intelligent in this roster of fighters, the Wizard, while frail, is not to be scoffed at. Years of studying magic and using it has turned your typical bookworm into an almighty fireball flinging god with a body as fragile as wet toilet paper.
They are the generalists of magic, often having a spell for every situation. The advantage of annihilating your enemies however, comes at a price both mental and physical. Due to the complicated gestures and words a spell requires, a Wizard could only choose a few to remember from his spellbook. Unless they are able to peacefully flip through their spellbook while chaos ensues around them, Wizards have only a limited amount of spells at their disposal. Their weak body also cannot tolerate the weight of armour and thus they rely solely on luck and magic to defend themselves.
The Assassins
Backstabbers and close ranged chainsaws, the Assassin comes in a package with pain. They usually wield light weapons for an ease of leaping stealthily around people. While Ninjas and Assassins are quite similar, they have big differences. Assassins focus more on the physical side of things, utilising training and muscles to solve problems.
Unless you are meant to see one, spotting an Assassin is next to impossible due to their catlike agility, reflexes and sneakiness. Years of training their muscles however, resulted in them focusing more on the movement of their body rather than their eyes. Thus, their long ranged abilities aren't really something to tell Simon Cowell about.
The Priests
The holiest of them all, Priests rely on the unforgiving power of Gods and Devils to unleash both miracles and apocalypses. Many worship one deity, be it Satan, Santa or even Thor the Thunder God from Avengers. Through faith and practice a Priest can commune with their deity and borrow a sliver of power to rejuvenate the hurt, smite someone or just make the Priest glow for bragging purposes. The possibilities are almost endless due to the amount of deities in Otium.
Beware however, once a Priest worhips a deity, any weaknesses from the deity are transferred to the Priest gradually if the link between both are to be established. Don't worship a fire god if you tend to be on the sea! Aside from that Priests will experience pain upon even having the thought of worhipping another deity other than theirs.
The Druids
The tree hugger friend from high school has now evolved to one of Mother Nature's many lovers. Druids are born, not made however. They innately feel a connection to the dirt, the sea and obviously, the manure in the forest. It calls to them much like the sea calls to Moana. Many Druids are usually found covered in dirt and always wandering off in the general direction of a forest. They somehow believe that the insects and animals of the forest are family and will strive to protect them at all costs.
Such a love for nature has softened Mother Nature's heart. Therefore she grants these tree huggers the ability to manipulate the very earth itself. They are able to call to animals and some even spoke to animals. When a Druid is granted these powers they instinctively claim part of the forest as their territory, threatening adventurers and stabbing lumberjacks with a special vine-like sword they can conjure.
It's not all sunshines and daisies with these poop lovers though. They simply refuse to wear any manmade armour including animal hide. In fact, they are especially hostile towards people wearing the furs of the Druid's friends. So what do they wear? Plantlike vines and leaves. The Druid becomes part plant upon getting amazing powers and leaves grow to cover their naked body. This makes them extremely flammable and weak to the cold, the opposite of their warm humid forests. In locations void of the sun Druids often find themselves more hungry than usual and weaker as a result.
The Ninjas
Stealthy, quick, sneaky, the Ninjas are like the Assassins in a way. While Assassins trains their physical abilities, Ninjas prefer to focus on their mental prowess. Using the amazing Chi both as a crutch and an advantage, they can easily outmanuever average opponents, throw spirit bombs and channel their inner weeb.
They aren't as stealthy or agile as the Assassins so instead they rely on their Chi to not die to a stray arrow. Through channeling their Chi, Ninjas are able to match Assassins' physical abilities and as well as have a better aim so they usually use far range weapons like shurikens and hadoukens instead. To balance out all these, Ninjas have to spend a long time meditating to recuperate their stressed mind or else they will easily get Chi Sickness and become vulnerable to almost anything.
The Marksmen
Sissy campers in Call of Duty and TF2 fans, rejoice! Your favorite shooter has come. The Marksman is a master of weapons. The opposite of the Warrior in fact. They are proficient in all types of ranged weaponry due to their superhuman aim and reflexes. They have some skill in using a dagger and sword but let's be honest, why stab when you can 360-no-scope? With their machine guns and rapid fire crossbows, the Marksman is the ultimate ranged fighter.
They have a big weakness that everyone has figured out 5 years ago, melee. Catch one out of guard and they are easy pickings just like a Wizard. This is why all Marksmen utilise traps. Snares, tripwires, nooses, you name it, they know it. While the Wizard prefers to just teleport away to safety (pretty dangerous spell), Marksmen don't have that luxury and thus when caught off guard they could only stand their ground and fight. If you see a Marksman standing in a clearing with a sword in hand, look again. Around them are a thousand different mines primed to kill you upon a mistake. Fighting a Marksman is often joked as dancing: You need to be always moving if you want your body intact and safe.
