Youra brought the last of her things outside her house. She put the box near the door and looked back to the house with longing eyes. When her parents ganged up on her to get her to move to their house, she managed to dig her foot in and stick with her decision to stay at her house.
The next day, she woke up and found herself being mobbed by reporters as she stepped down from her house. What did her lawyer said about privacy and personal space? They were obviously out for blood.
Her dad hired someone to escort her to work and drove her around to the university.
At school, her students were excited to see her, wanting to ask everything and anything about BTS and her relationship with Jin. She put a stop to it by putting on her stern teacher face and kept on teaching. She had to mute her notification with the chat group with the kids and was thinking of leaving the group chat. In the end she left the group.
Mr Park already sent in the letter to Mr Goo and he was trying so hard to keep his opinion in. Youra smiled at him and promised she will do her best to teach the students.
She didn't dare to check on her Instagram post or online news, especially those with comments section turned on. There were some good comments, supporting both of them and some were downright toxic. She wondered how Jin survived them all these years.
He just gave her one advice.
Don't read them.
The crowd of reporters was gone the day after. She guessed Mr Park must have something to do with it when she received a message from him saying they were handled accordingly. Her father still sent someone to chauffeur her around and she was not that happy. She missed walking to the bus stop and the bus ride to work.
All hell broke loose when a group of fans went to her house and asking really personal questions about her and Jin. The crazy solo delulu stans – those are what her students called them. The akgaes and sasaengs. They even set camp in front of the door in hope of getting a glimpse of Jin going to Youra's house.
She freaked out, shut her door close and called Mr Park straight away. He sent a few security personnel to her house to keep the fans at bay.
If that was what it takes to date a member of BTS, she prayed for the next person who will date the other members to be really prepared for the journey.
She felt bittersweet leaving the house. It was the first house she really loved. The rent was reasonable and the location was good as to why she called the landlady without knowing where it was actually at. She freaked out when she found out the house was on the rooftop. Since she was determined take the final step to fight her battle with anxiety, she bit the bullet and signed the leasing contract.
"Baby, are you ready?" Jin asked.
Youra gave the house a final look and hug the door goodbye. "I'm going to miss you," Youra said to the door.
Jin shook his head. He knew how attached Youra was with the house. She took pictures of every corner of the place before packing her stuff for the move. It was small and the view from her house was beautiful to say the least. She and her parents reached to a compromise and she finally agreed to her dad's suggestion to move. As long as it was not her parents' house.
Youra moved to a studio apartment not far from her university that was currently empty and ready for quick occupancy. It was a guarded property and she refused to let her dad pay for the rent even if she had to pay through her nose for it. The security was good but the lowdown was that the neighbours were not that friendly and too busy to even get to know each other.
She missed her old neighbours already and she haven't even left yet.
She sighed and trudged to the car.
