America was sitting on the couch, minding his own business when Japan burst through the front door holding something under her left arm.

"HOLY SHIT!!" America screamed as he jumped and hid behind the couch, peeking his head up. "What the hell, Japan?! Can't you just open the door like a normal person?!!" Ame questioned as Japan walked into the living and set a cage on the coffee table.
"Sorry, Joe! I'm just so excited today!!" Japan squealed as she went over to help the American up.

America looked at Japan, then at the cage, and then back at Japan, who's grin widened every second.
America already knew something was up, especially since Japan usually never smiled like this. He then had a slow realization and began shaking his head from side to side. "Oh no! No, no, no, no, no!" "Oh come on, Ame! You know I always wanted a pet!" Japan whined. "And I said, we wouldn't get one!" America shouted as he walked around the coffee table, as the cage rattled.

Japan walked up to the cage and smiled again. Obviously, whatever animal she got, it was one she always wanted.

America sighed and then turned to talk to Japan. "Okay, Hinode....what animal did you get?" "Take a guess!" Japan suggested as she put her hands behind her back. "Um, okay," Ame said as he thought for a minute. "Is it.....a puppy?" He asked. "Nope!" Japan responded, her smile growing wider. "Alright, what about....a snake?" America asked once more. "No, it's not a snake, Ame. If it was, then it would've been carried in a reptile tank."

With every guess Ame took, Japan nodded her head from side to side, her smile growing wider with every attempt. "Okay, fine! I give up! What is it?" America asked, slightly intrigued. "Promise me you won't freak out in a bad way?" Japan asked. "As long as it isn't a spider or anything from Aussie." America promised as he slowly backed away from the cage.

Japan then unlocked the cage and opened it, only to have a small, white, fennec fox jump onto the floor and immediately run towards America. "What in the world?!" Ame shouted as the fox kept running around him in circles.

"I can see that Loona already likes you, Joe!" Japan said as she picked the fox up. "Wait a minute...You got a fox as a pet?!!" America shouted with a startled expression on his face. "Yep! Apparently, regular forest foxes are illegal here in New York, so I got a fennec fox!" Japan said as she held the fox up to America's face. "Okay, Japan, I have a quick question? Why couldn't you get a regular pet?!! Like a dog or a rabbit or a fish?!" Ame suggested. Japan rolled her eyes in annoyance as she set Loona down and walked to the front door.

"You knew I always wanted a pet ever since I was a kid, Joe. Besides, I didn't want a pet that everyone already had. I wanted an exotic pet and Loona was the closest I could get. Why? Would you have liked a tiger as a pet instead?" Japan sarcastically asked as she made her way towards her car and grabbed two small bowls and a dog bed.

When Japan made her way back into the house and closed the front door, she immediately saw America watching Tv and glaring at Loona, who was exploring the houses' surroundings, once in a while. Japan sighed as she put Loonas' food and water bowl next to the kitchen countertop, and walked upstairs to her room as she put Loonas bed next to hers.

"Hey Loona, do you want to go for a walk?" Japan greeted the energetic fox as she walked into the living room. Japan pet Loona on the head as she heard America's feet thud down the stairs and land on the ground.

"Wait, wait, wait! What if...I took Loona out for a walk today, Japan?" America asked as he smiled.
Japan rolled her eyes as she walked towards the coat hanger near the front door, grabbed Loonas' leash, and returned back to her original spot. She handed the leash to America who eagerly snatched it and picked Loona up in one arm.

Japan then rolled her eyes in annoyance and walked upstairs. "Wait, is there anything I need to know before taking Loona out on a walk?" Ame asked as Japan continued walking towards her room. "Nothing special, Joe. You just walk her around like a normal pet. She acts just like a dog, honestly." Japan then closed her bedroom door as Ame walked out the front door and into the driveway.

He set Loona down on the pavement and connected her leash to her collar. Lucky for him, she didn't immediately run off.
"Well, off to the park we go!" America said to the fox as he walked towards the sidewalk. Suddenly he stopped walking and began to start jogging in the opposite direction.
"But first, lets' go show you off to Germ. Me having a pet fox would be way cooler then him having a German Shepherd!"
