After a rather fun day of swinging and twirling, they resorted to watching TV on Steven's bed and eating cookies with milk. She purred at the taste of the sweet round cookie, "These are so yummy!" Steven chuckled at the comment, his cheeks a little rosey. "Yeah, cookies are good. But dip them in the milk! It's even better then." Spinel nodded and dipped her next cookie in the milk, trying it and her eyes sparkled in amazement. "Woahhh! That's delicious!" Steven thought that her little reactions to new things were adorable and he snickered at them. As Spinel continued to eat her cookies, Steven did too. She looked at the TV, "What is this box of colorful moving people called?" Steven chuckled once more, speaking his mind on accident. "You're so adorable when you react to human things.." Spinel blushed and looked at him. His already rosey cheeks turned redder. "Wh- What did yo- you mean by that?" Steven shook his head, "N- Nothing!" She gave a snicker, "You said I was adorable!" He just looked back at the TV, "I didn't hear anything." Spinel rolled her eyes, "I think it was very audible." Steven just shook his head, "Nope, don't know what you're talking about." The other gem just chuckled as she ate another cookie that was drenched in the milk. "You can't hide that compliment from me, y'know." He just continued to have that rosey tint on his cheeks. "..Fine! You got me." Spinel chuckled, "It wasn't hard." Steven shrugged, "Well I tried!" She laughed, "Not good enough!" After a bit of joking around, they both just quieted down a little bit and chatted as they ate their milk and cookies.
