A man can hurt,
A man is not made of steel,
Men own hearts,
That get broken, then heals.

Because he's a man,
He will hide in his pride,
Shielding his insecurities,
Faking it all with lies.

Because he's a man,
He's taught to believe that tears are for the weak,
That it is okay drink,
Rather than crying and venting till it all looks bleak.

Men feel,
They break, they reshape
Buried deep in their ego,
They take the blame, endure the pains.

Manhood,
With great power comes great responsibility,
A burden the male gender carries for all eternity,
Toiling and struggling to make it all fit in,
But society don't care 'bout these little things.

Get closer,
Make him feel better,
Conquer his firewalls,
Break the emotional barrier,
Listen hard,
And you'll find,
Deep in his wounded heart,
That even men hurt.
