"Woo! That was terrible!"

Von exclaims as we exit the cinema and furiously dumps his popcorn bucket into the trash bin.

"I know right? I can't believe they had the guts to make that sequel" Candy adds in disgust.

"I can't believe we had the guts to watch it" I said and we all burst out laughing.

"Yeah why DID we watch it?"

"Because watching a horror movie is one of the best ways to cure loneliness" Von explains looking at me "it helps you forget, because it'll scare away all the memories or things that make you sad"

Candy raises an eyebrow at Von "I bet you read that on one of your books"

Von smiles and nods proudly "Mm-hmm. 25 Ways to Forget" brandishing his book, he flips to a page with an illustration of a brain "It says here, all 25 are truly effective if followed religiously. The result is totally magnificent it's like all the things you were trying to forget will be totally erased from your memories."

"What like amnesia?" Candy asks, looking at Von dubiously.

Von stops for a second "Yeah"

Candy rolls her eyes "I'm telling you, you got to stop reading books like that"

Von pulls Candy's hair playfully and she smacks him at the back of his head as I follow closely behind like a third wheel... but I don't mind, I really ship them. I giggled and Von pulls my hair playfully this time "What are you laughing at?"

"Nothing"

"Hmmm, laughing without reason. I should buy a book about that"

Candy punches him lightly on the arm "We're here" nodding at the arcade where we used to come after exams to unwind and also, where a couple months ago when my friends were trying to help me cope, I ended up in a sobbing mess when I remembered David playing here, Von had to carry me out... it was not a good memory.

Von tosses a coin in the air in front of me, breaking me out of my trance then catching it mid-air "Ready to play?"

I grab a few tokens from his hand and went straight to a car racing machine... every time I play this, I feel like such a pro in driving. If it weren't for that dream I'd probably be crying my eyes out right now but I'm not, I feel more at ease. There will always be things and places that will remind me of David but I figured they don't have to make me sad all the time. I should be glad I even have those memories.

I finished the race second. Hmm, I'm getting better AND hungrier... better find the lovers err... I mean my friends.

Baby, baby, baby Ohhh"

"Like"

"Baby, baby, baby no"

"Like"

"Baby, baby, baby ohhh"

"I thought you'd always be mine

I look around and my eyes grew wide as a familiar unpleasant sight came into view... It was Kenny! Oh man, of all places.

"Nins!"

I need not to look to know its Von "Is that Kenny?"

"Apparently"

He looks so goofy performing on the makeshift disco stage. Look at him, he totally feels like his Justin Bieber 2009. We watched completely unimpressed by his poor attempt in impersonating the singer, but you got to give it to him... he's got quite a crowd in here.
