When we went inside, Jannie pull me to the side asking, "Do you remember when I said I have something to show you?" I mumbled, "I do now..." Jannie smiled, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" She then commenced to drag me up three stairs then came to a stop in a dark hallway where we had to take out our phones for the flashlight. We started walking for a while until she made us stop. "Well, " I started, "What did you want to show-" I stopped my sentence amazed, it was rat souls all around the room making a trail. "So..." Jannie questioned, "What is it?" I answered, "Rat souls." Janine's phone suddenly ringed showing that someone was calling her, when she answered the phone I smiled. Seeing her let out a breath showing that she feared the call. Jannie said, "It's just Jessie." She put it on speaker for me to hear, "Come downstairs it's time for dinner." I responded, "Okay we're coming." Jannie hanged up after, "Hey umm... Can we tell her about this?" I shrugged, "I don't care, as long as she doesn't fuck up." When finally went downstairs to the dining room to see Jessie. I asked, "Yo where y'all grandma at?" Jessie answered while eating, "She goes to bed early." Once we sat down Jannie immediately started talking, "We have something to show you, Jessie!" Jessie said not showing anything interest, "Oh well I can't wait to see it."
I then smiled again knowing the fear she'll have. When we got done eating, we went back to the rat souls. Jessie shrieked, "OH MY GOSH WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! I HAVE TO CALL GRANDMA-" I quickly took action, pushing her to the ground making her drop her phone. I said sarcastically, "Sorry but you can't tell 'Grandma', got it?" Jessie asked, "I-I understand, but why?" I got up, dusting myself off, "Well there is no way that she doesn't know about this. Also, she could use it in a good or bad way and I'm not gonna take a risk cause of your stupid ass." I took out my phone and called two friends.
(20 minutes later) We waited outside for my other friends to come till Jannie said, "They're here."
