I look at her with teary eyes. I thought that I am better off without her as I have used her to make myself feel good and powerful. I never know the true value of losing her until I see her embraced tightly and lovingly by my cousin whom I have called a loser.

All of a sudden, the aftermath of the break up only hits me. Whatever Yeonjun said has come true. 

There will come a day that I regret losing her. I never thought that it is possible but right now, I know. I know that I still love her but she is already someone else's queen and I am too late. 

Right after she kisses him, I have gone out and drink a couple glasses of wine that are on the banquet table. The alcohol is not enough to make me forget about her. My heart still beats for her even if my brain tells me that I am not hers anymore.

Now here am I, down on my knees, begging her to talk to me personally for the one last time. This time, I am here to grab my opportunity to talk to her, to hold her smooth hand one last time. 

"Fine..." Jade closes her eyes and sighs.

"Jade, are you crazy?! He is the jerk who has hurt you countless times and now, you're talking to him?!" Her cousin shouts, exasperated at me.

"I do think that Jade should talk to him since clearly, they have not solved their problems yet." Lea says. 

"Yeah...." Soobin trails off before reluctantly letting his grip onto her. 

"If anything happens, don't hesitate to call me." Soobin says worriedly as she smiles and gives him one last peck on his lips.

That beautiful, soft pink lips that are used to kissing mine. 

I thought that I am better off without her but it turns out, she is the one who is better off without me. 

"Sure, Binnie." I could hear her melodious giggle that resembles an angel's voices. 

"Beomgyu, get up." Jade says as she stretches her hand out for me to hold. I place my hand in hers, felling her smooth skin for a moment as I get up from the ground. 

"Let's go outside and talk. It... It has much more privacy here." She says as I nod my head silently before following her out of the banquet hall. 

It is too late to apologize. Too late to turn around and say: "I still love you and I want you back."

It's too late.

"You only have 5 minutes and explain." Jade sighs as she turns around. 

I open my lips but nothing come out. All the words that I want to tell her are stuck in my throat. I am still awestruck by her beauty. 

"I still love you, Jade." Is the only thing I could say. Her blue eyes are widened as she gasps.
