Chapter 20 (Finale 5/5)

Hop woke up, instead of waking up alone like usual, he had someone in bed with him

It was Gloria.

Her arms were wrapped around him and his were doing the same.

Gloria's semi-long hair was in a tangeled mess as her head was laid on his arm.

Hop smiled at the sight of his life long best friend, and rival - who was now his girlfriend.

Gloria yawned as she slowly opened her eyes and woke up to the sight of her life time best friend, and now boyfriend next to bed with her.

"Mornin' love." Gloria yawned as she gently rubbed her eyes and got up.

"Mornin' love." Hop greeted back.

Gloria then booped Hop's nose, which made the two enter a laughing fit due to the way that Hop reacted.

Suddenly, the two heard the downstair door unlock.

"Who was that?" Gloria asked.

"Oh, it's probably the others." Hop explained.

"Wait, they come here every morning?" Gloria asked.

"Yeah, and they kinda stay here. But they do go home every night."

Suddenly, the two had and idea. What if they surprised the others?

Hop told Gloria to stay here until he comes back to get her downstairs.

Hop then went downstairs as usual, attempting to hide his smile to the others.

The others loudly greeted him a good morning as usual, not really expecting to receive any surprising news today.

Hop went to sit on the couch as usual as the others prepared breakfast. He was on his phone, and he still couldn't stop smiling.

He bid face in his pillow, blushing madly as excitement took over his emotions.

"What has gotten into you?" Sonia asked.

"Nothing!" Hop exclamed.

Sonia looked at him with a skeptical look on her face, but she then ignored it, even if he was being suspicious.

Bea informed that breakfast was ready and the others got up and went to the dining table.

In the middle of the meal, Hop finally said something.

"So, I have some news." Hop informed.

"Is it good, or bad?" Leon asked.

"Well.. Depends on how you take it."

Hop the jumped out of his chair and everyone looked at each other in confusion.

Hop then went back upstairs and went straight to his bedroom.

Hop opened the door to his bedroom and carried Gloria in a bridal style to carry her downstairs.

"W-wait, I'm nervous. What do you think they'll say?" Gloria asked.

Hop then gave Gloria a peck on her forehead and responded to her question.

"I'm suree they'll be fine, don't worry." Hop comforted his girlfriend.

Hop then carried her downstairs and set her down in front of everybody. Gloria was surprised about how shy she got when she saw everybody.

"Well... We have some news." Gloria announced softly, gripping two Pokéballs that she brought downstairs with her in her hand tightly.

Gloria handed Hop one of the Pokéballs and they both happily let out the Pokémon that was inside it.

They both let out an Applin and everyone was frozen in shock as Gloria smiled at them softly, until Nessa finally spoke up.

"Oh. My. GODDDD!!" Nessa yelled as she covered her mouth with her hands.

Everyone then screamed as they realized what happened. Nessa and Leon then jumped out of their chairs and hugged the two of them. Nessa hugged Gloria while Leon hugged Hop.

"I'm so proud of you..!" Nessa and Leon sobbed out in unison as tears of joy spilled from their eyes.

Everyone then stood up from their chairs and pulled the two into a gigantic group hug as they say their congratulations and suggestions.

Then they pulled away from the group hug and just talked with each other to catch up on some stuff.

Timeskip...

As the afternoon rolled around, so did lunch time.

Everyone was asking what to have for lunch, until Raihan suggested something.

"Well... Since Hop and Gloria just became official, we should celebrate! Let's eat outside, my treat. I know a good seafood place in Hulbury."

Everyone agreed and started to got ready.

One everyone was ready, they all headed outside, but Hop and Gloria stayed behind.

" Thank for everything, Hop." Gloria said softly.

"Thank you for what, love?" Hop asked.

"Thanks for always being there for me, even if I stole your dream and all..."

"You didn't steal it from me, in fact you gave it." Hoo chuckled.

Gloria looked at her boyfriend with confusion, "What do you mean?"

"My dream was to have you all along.."

Gloria then lightly smacked her boyfriend's shoulder and laughed.

"You're so cheesy, Hop!" Gloria laughed, and soon Hop did too due to how contagious Gloria's laughed was.

"But seriously, I love you." said Gloria.

"Love you too." Hop said back.

Suddenly, Sonia's voice interrupted the two, "Hurry up! Are you guys coming?!"

"Coming!" The two said in unison.
