Voicemail [Karchie] Short Story

When the bell rings.

I was about to call Archie when suddenly the doorbell rang. I looked at the clock , it was 9:30pm. Who the heck comes to visit this late? I sighed annoyed and walked slowly downstairs. When i was on the stairs the bell rang again.

"Yes I'm coming jeez." I said annoyed before opening the door. The moment I opened it i just stood there frozen. In front of me was standing the one and only Archie Andrews with a smile. "You don't like visitors at your house?"

I smiled awkwardly. "Yes , i mean no , i mean uhm come inside." I blushed and cleared the way so that he can walk inside. When he got inside I closed the door. "So i got an interesting message from you."

I looked towards the ground. "Sorry I shouldn't have done that, its okay if you don't like me , just forget about it i-..." Archie putted his soft hand on one of my cheeks which made me stop talking. He slowly made me look up with his hand. I slowly looked inside Archie his beautiful eyes.

"Stop worrying Kevin really. I feel the same way." He gave me a warm smile. I was frozen again for a little. Did he just say that he liked me too. "But-but you smiled when Betty was talking to LA and Veronica-..." Archie chuckled.

"Kevin, just because i smiled doesn't mean i want to marry them. Besides..." he got closer to me. "You are the only one i share my food with every time we hang out, i always make sure im sitting across you or next to you and you don't know how many times I've wanted to grab your hand when you put them on the table."

I could feel his breath hit my face now. "You are the only one i care about Kevin. I want to hear you talk, I don't care if Veronica is almost owning the brand 'Michael Kors' or that Betty was surrounded by ten thousand paper works this summer. I want to know what you did even if it was just showering."

My heart was beating so fast right now i bet that even Archie could hear it, my stomach felt as if little explosions were happening inside of it. "R-really?" I asked still not getting if i had fallen asleep when i got out of the shower and was imagining all this.

Archie's face came even closer, our noses were now touching one another. He putted his hand on my cheek "do you allow me?" He whispered as his mouth started going closer towards mine.

I looked inside Archie's eyes until I could see my own reflection in them. I slowly nodded as my legs started shaking slightly, i was feeling so weird. I slowly closed my eyes and before i knew it i felt his lips connect with mine.

We stayed connected like that for two minutes when Archie started moving his lips and i tried doing what he did. I didn't know if i was kissing him right since this was my very first kiss. We kept going for a little till we both were out of breath.

He slowly pulled away leaning his forehead slowly on mine. His eyes were still closed as we both were taking slow small breaths. "That was my first Kiss." Was the first thing i said. Archie slowly opened his eyes too.

"Mine too." He gave me again one of his gorgeous smiles. I blushed "I thought you already had your first kiss with someone else. I mean look at you." I bit my lip.

"I was saving my first kiss for you." When that sentence escaped his mouth I couldn't help but smile back at him. "Why did you never tell me anything?" I asked him.

"I've tried talking to you so many times Kev, you just never let anyone in." Now that Archie is actually saying this he could see that it was actually true. Every time that they were hanging out when Kevin talked it was because Archie asked him questions or included him in the conversation.

"Can you kiss me again?" I asked him blushing. Archie smirked "with my pleasure." He leaned back in and kissed me again.

After that day me and Archie started dating. We waited one week before we made or relationship public. When we did , Veronica and Betty weren't all happy about it but after some time they came back around and apologized for being mad.

Veronica figured out that she was bisexual and had a relationship with Cheryl Blossom which went on for some months but they broke up cause just having a crush on each other doesn't keep a relationship and after that she and Reggie started dating and they had been doing pretty well.

As for Betty she didn't care that much about relationships anymore and focused more on her studies and she was doing just fine.

Archie respected that i wanted to take things slow so he never pushed me to do anything more than kissing and laying in our beds together when we were hanging out. That made me fall even more for him cause he showed me that he wasn't like most of the boys that mostly just want a relationship so that they can get laid.

Both of our parents accepted or relationships and trusted us to give us enough space and not keep an eye on us all the time.

Everyone deserves a great love story just like im living mine right now holding hands with Archibald Andrews.
