Logan POV
I left from home and I went to the office for the meeting. I get there and I'm escorted to the meeting room. After I talk to them about the advantages they could have by being part of HPG, I convinced them to sell me the paper.
"Mr. Huntzberger"a girl from the meeting says
"Please call me Logan when not in the office. Mr. Huntzberger is my father"
"Alright Logan, me and some of my coworkers are going to lunch to celebrate. Would you like to join us? It will be great to get to know the next CEO" I really wanted to say no but I can't be an asshole. It won't hurt anyone
"It sounds lovely"I say with a fake smile. She gives me the restaurant address
"I'll se you there" I say leaving

I get to the restaurant and the only person is the girl who asked me to come here.
"Hi, where are the others?"I ask
"Oh about that. They couldn't make it unfortunately"
"Actually I got a call from the office. I have to go"I say trying to get out of there
"Can we at least have a drink?"
"Sure" I say defeated
We get a drink and chat for a bit and then I go to the bathroom. When I get back I say goodbye and leave. I try to call Star but she's not answering. She might be studying . She called me half an hour ago but I didn't hear it.

I get home and look around the apartment for Star. I can see that's she's been studying in our room and that she watched a movie with the girls from all the snacks. I try to call her again but nothing. I decide to call Steph
"Hi Steph, do you know where Star is?"
"Nope"
"Oh, ok then"
"No problem. I have to go. Bye"
"Oh um bye"
I called all of our friends but nothing

After 1 hour I hear the door unlock. I go and I see Star. She looks uncomfortable
"Hey, where were you? I called you 5 times I think" I say going in for a kiss but she avoids me
"Where I was? What about you?"she says clearly mad
"I was at the meeting and then went for a drink"
"Oh stop lying"she says getting her coat off and moving to the living room
"I'm not lying"I says coming after her
"Yes you are"
"With what am I lying to you?"
"Every thing about today it seems. Tell me how was she? Did you find the condom? Pretty stupid of you to lose it"she says not even facing her
"What are you talking about Star?"I ask putting a hand on her shoulder
"DONT CALL ME THAT"she brushed my hand off
"What's wrong with the nickname?"
"The problem is that I can't hear the nickname after what you've done"
"What did I do? I don't get it. Please tell me"
"You cheated on me"she says with tears in her eyes
"What?"
"You cheated on me. I thought you loved me Logan. We moved in together for fucks sake. Was this all a game to you? You could have spared me the heartbreak. Why did you have to ask to be my boyfriend if you'd cheat on me. Tell me, am I not worthy enough?"
"Airi I never cheated on you. I never will. I love you with all my heart, I'd do anything for you. You are the best thing in my life. I beg you, tell me from where did you get the idea of me cheating on you"
"She answered"
"Who?"
"I DONT FUCKING KNOW HER NAME LOGAN"
"Ok ok continue"
"She answered your phone and She said you're busy. When I asked why she's answering your phone she asked me who I was. I told her that I'm the girlfriend and she said I shouldn't have discovered this and that you're busy looking for a condom"
"I assure you that didn't happen"
"But-"
"Please let me explain and keep in mind that I never lied to you and that I'm not lying"
"Fine"
"The meeting went well, we bought the paper and this girl asks me for lunch with the coworkers to celebrate. When I get to the restaurant she's the only one there. I try to tell her that I have a meeting and that I have to go. She asked for us to just get a drink then. I didn't want to be an asshole and start on the wrong foot. I go to the bathroom and I accidentally leave my phone on the table. When I get back I leave and I come home and you're not here"
"Wow"
"I'm really stupid that I left my phone on the table"
"Yeah you're stupid" she says laughing
"Are we good?"I ask
"We're good" she says coming in for a hug
"Never ever ever doubt my love for you. That's the most true thing I ever felt"
"I should probably call the girls and tell them you didn't cheat"
"So that's why they were so cold when I called them"
"Be thankful they kept their mouths shut. You'd be dead by now"
"I'm lucky then. I love you Star"I say kissing her
"I love you too"she says smiling
"Now that I'm the boss I could fire her"
"That would be quite easy. I mean she made me think you'd cheat on me. We deserve to get some revenge"
"I like what I hear. So what's the plan?"
"Are you going tomorrow?"she asks with a smirk
"Why yes I am"
"Can I go too?"she asks with puppy eyes
"Of course babe"
