I woke up early the next morning, I felt well-rested. I rushed through my morning routine before sitting down with my Aunty to have breakfast. She had made a full English breakfast. I was then dropped to school by her which meant I hopefully had more time to annoy Mr Peters.

I walked into his room to find it once again empty, but I knew he was here. His bag was sat in his desk as well as a mug of coffee. I sat down on my usual seat pulling out my homework. I didn't have much thankfully, I actually got to enjoy most weekends homework free. As I finished my last math sum he walked in. He went straight to his desk picking up his coffee. He held it to his mouth for quite some time taking in the aroma.

I pushed the sheet into my bag "Mr Peters, do you have a hangover."

He nearly dropped the mug in surprise "no, I don't have a hangover. I just need a strong cup of coffee in the morning to wake me up, this morning I need a few."

I ran my fingers through my blonde hair nervously "what bothering you so much to keep you awake?"

He shrugged "a lot going on at the moment with work."

I nodded "this weekend should really help take the stress off then."

He nearly spat his coffee back into the mug "what do you think I want to do with you this weekend?"

I shrugged "something to do with water, I hope it's the beach."

He let out a deep sigh "close but it isn't the beach, it is better. I honestly hate the beach."

I fake gasped at him "take that back, Mr Peters, the beach is the best place in the world."

He finished his coffee "you will soon change your mind, now stop bothering me and go to class. You are beginning to distract me from my job."

I got up from my desk faking hurt "Mr Peters, you really know how to get a girl down."

The whole done was quickly over which meant I had until eight o'clock the next day to pack for our water outing. When I got home my aunt wasn't there but she had left a message telling me she was working. I rushed upstairs pulling out a bag. I grabbed a beach towel and bathers. I then threw in a change of clothes and sun cream. I zipped up the bag and grabbed a hat and a pair of sunglasses and placed them on top. I walked down to the basement to find an inflatable raft which looked like a slice of pizza.

I went to place that with the rest of my things, I then texted Will 'are you sure there is nothing else you can think of that I might need?"

It took quite a while before he responded 'I have everything else covered.' I climbed into bed wishing he was here picking me up already.

I woke the next morning and rushed to change. I put on my bathers and a pair of shorts and an old band shirt. I packed a pair of shoes in my bag and put thongs on my feet, I carried my things downstairs and placed them by the door leaving a note for my aunt. My phone buzzed letting me know Will was outside.

He waited next to the passenger door to help me put my things in the boot. He helped me into his car making a very long journey through thick bush. All of a sudden I was hit with a marvellous site and crystal blue water that you could see through. A few families milling by but not many.

I turned to Will "this is way better than the beach, how did you find this place?"

I turned to Will "this is way better than the beach, how did you find this place?"

Will pulled into the next available parking spot "my dad used to take me here when I was a child. I always wanted to come back but never wanted to come alone."

Together we climbed out of the car gathering out things. He found a nice shady area close to the water. We set out a blanket and then pulled off our clothes to put on sun cream. After I have the majority of my body covered I looked over to Will "would you say we are friends."

He looked at me weirdly "I guess you could say that."

I clapped my hands gleefully "awesome can you put sun cream on my back?"

He nervously nodded his head "of course."

I handed him the cream turning my back to him, slowly his hands ran along my back and over my shoulders. Once he was done I turned to him, he was pulling his shirt over his washboard abs. "Would you like me to put sun cream on your back."

He wordlessly nodded his head. I moved around his body coating him in a thick layer rubbing in the sun cream, I could feel as his muscles became tense under my fingers. After a few minutes, I was done and dropped the bottle on top of my bag. I glanced at Will to see he was already looking at me. I smiled "are you going to join me for a swim?"

He nodded his head "yeah, the water is usually warm."

Slowly we both emerged into the water. I dived straight in with Will following behind. I floated on my back "you often talk of your parents, do you still see them?"

He shook his head "we had a falling out a few years now, I no longer talk to them and they haven't felt a need to contact me either. I have always known where to find me."

I swam closer to him "it must get lonely, not having anyone, not even your parents?"

He nodded "it doesn't but you get used to it. What about you, how old were you when you lost your parents?"

I had to think about it for a moment "I was nine when I lost them. It has nearly been nine years. It's difficult to remember them sometimes, I miss them. They were driving with me in the car. We were going to a live concert, my first ever concert and I was excited. Mum and I were singing to the CD in the car. Dad tried to stop but we crashed into the back of a truck. Mum and dad died on impact and I spent a few months in hospital."

Will pulled me into his arms "I'm sorry for making you talk about it."

I hugged him back "it makes me remember."
