I circled around the punching bag throwing several jabs at it. My hands went faster and harder than I intended them too. I couldn't stop feeling myself releasing all of my anger.

"I flashback on that shootout at the beach, twenty deep. You tried to squeeze, your gun jammed and they released. Blood on your tee, how many stains? I see three. The bitch started to panic, so I made her switch seats. Drivin' now, police chopper ahead flyin' now. Really not too spook-"

"AYE!" The headphones were snatched out my ear aggressively, causing me to look back pissed, staring at a dumbass Kash. "Chill, Gee."

"What the fuck you want? Can't you see I'm busy?"

"It's time to cut this workout short. Two of your workers called in today. You gotta head to the shop, like now." He told me.

"Alright." The frustration was evident on my face as I opened the gallon of water, gulping down half of it as Kash continued to talk to me.

"You just need to fire them niggas. They ain't really putting in no work."

"Are you going to find me two more people or finally do some fucking work yourself?"

"I'm here now, ain't I?"

"Barely." I wiped the sweat dripping from my forehead, sliding my shirt back on. "I'll meet you out front, I need to go take a shower first. Do I have time for that?"

He smacked his lips. "Hurry the fuck up."

My jaw clenched not saying a word. He would always want a reaction out of me, but I wasn't going to give him one today. Kash is my little brother and swore he was the oldest, running shit.

I stepped under the water letting it cool down my body and massage my sore muscles. My mind went to my older brother Joshua. He was murdered almost 6 months ago and it still doesn't feel real. He left his Mechanic shop for me to take over. With the staff not coming in when they're supposed too, shit was falling apart.

Fixing cars wasn't something that I loved to do but I learned how to. I couldn't let Joshua's hard work go into shambles. He put his blood, sweat, and tears into that business, so I'll do anything to keep it going. No matter how I felt about it. That place wouldn't even be standing right if it wasn't for me. Boxing was more of my passion. If I wasn't at the shop, fixing a car then I was at the gym.

After 20 minutes I felt myself feel slightly better and slipped out. I dried off throwing my work outfit. I walked out seeing Kash waiting for me. I tapped his shoulder and we headed to the shop. It was money to be made and I had to make my brother proud one way or another.

_______

"Hey, are you Gee?" This woman stepped out of her grey BMW X5. Her face was full of exhaustion and concern as she approached me.
