Keileen
"Calm down Lou, I'm not completely alone..I'm basically in a place I knew for years already." natatawang sabi ko sa lalaking pang-apat na beses ng tumawag sakin.
"But you said you've been in the Philippines for more than twenty-four hours already! What if you get lost because--
"Jeez, I'm not forgetful yet..calm down."patuloy kong pagrarason sa fiancé kong alalang-alala sakin.
Fiancé.
It sounds nice..having our relationship in a new level.
"Fine..just-" saglit siyang tumigil at bumuntong-hininga. " Just be careful ok?It feels odd without you here actually talking to me."
"Yep..don't worry, I know this place like the back of my hand."sabi ko at ngumiti at tinaas ang kamay ko at umaktong nag-salute,saka ko naisip na hindi niya pala ako nakikita kaya napailing na lang ako.
"Ok..I gotta go..bye soon-to-be Mrs. Oster..I love you"
My smile grew wider, hearing him call me in that kind of way..then after three months, I'll be an official Mrs. Oster.
Yes, in three months, we're getting married. And the girls were- as expected, the bridesmaids.
"Bye, Mr.Oster..I love you too."sabi ko bago tinapos ang tawag at bumaba sa kotse ko at naglakad papasok sa café.
It's been a while..ang dami na ang nagbago dito. Imperial Café looked greater than before.
"Good day ma'am! Table for how many?" bati ng isang waitress na sumalubong sa akin pagkapasok ko sa loob.
I smiled, remembering that Mei, who's currently busy with something else right now, used to greet us here before..but look at her now, talking to some staffs and dressed in a new outfit while ordering people around, she is now the café manager and bought this place, claiming this to be hers..and also, she already had her own cafés nationwide, MeiNfinity Café.
We aren't that close like the four of us are but she still have connections to us through internet, so we can see her posts about her new branches, her reason to stay at Imperial Café, and some communication through it too.
I look around the venue and spotted the table beside the glass window. "I have a table reserved under my name, Keileen Anderson."sabi ko at tinuro ang mesang may nakalagay na reserved tag sa ibabaw nito, saglit na tumingin sakin ang waitress bago tiningnan ang notebook na hawak niya bago tumango at nakangiting hinatid ako sa table.
"Enjoy your stay ma'am! Any drinks you would like to get while waiting?" alok niya nang makaupo na ako.
"Iced tea will do, thank you"sabi ko saka ngumiti bago humarap sa bintana at tiningnan ang view.
Ang daming nagbago, ang dating restaurant na ito at kulay brown ang dingding at cream ang tiled floor, na ngayon ay naging mas classic pa ang color combinations, pati ang mga arrangements at ilang building details ay nabago.
I heard from Fia that she's currently taking over their company, kaya ang plano niyang gawing full time work ang Architecture ay naging sideline na lang niya.. she's currently living in England right now.
Lyssa's doing great too. Aside from her job, nagpasiya siyang gawing trabaho ang dati ay libangan niya lang:ang pagpipinta. She opened a gallery here in the Philippines, I plan on visiting her along with the other three girls on her opening two days from now.
Everyone is busy. Now that I looked at myself sitting alone, mukha akong ewan na nakaupo dito, iced tea lang ang nasa mesa at kanina pa nag-iisa.
Ang tagal naman ng mga yun.
