AND THEN COMES LOVE

chapter five

"it's not wise to look straight at the moon in times such as this" Tom said he and Amanda both look at each other
"Really why is that?"
"It can be damaging to the eye even cause blindness"
Amanda mouth widened for she didn't knew that,
"The retina is home to the light sensing cells that makes the vision possible the option can even tell you that looking bare eyes can leads to brain damage"
"Yet still I'm a science teacher"
Tom laugh, "so you don't do designs much now that your teaching"
"Depends"
"On?"
"If I have a special occasion and want to look good I fix my style to how I want it"
"You always look fine, Mandy you probably wasnt  the richest or prettiest girl in high school but definitely was the hottest, as  much as we couldn't be friends in school, you still weren't my enemy"
They both look at each other for a while just with a focus stare, Tom watch her eyes they were ever so beautiful and her lips tempting he from a long time always wondered what kissing Amanda cartwell would be like seeing the opportunity he leans in and his cold lips brushes hers Amanda close her eyes welcome the kiss as if she was waiting for it, for a while their lips remains glue to each other as emotional feelings creeps up on her she pull back bite her lips jumps to her feet rubbing her palm over each other,
"Hey Mandy I'm sorry" Tom said
"I should, I should go" Amanda said turning on her heels,
She was over the rose patch
"Hey" Tom said getting up when Amanda stop he walk to the rose patch but he never step over, "I'm sorry"
"Don't apologise" she said walking away again
"What are you doing tomorrow?" He ask
She heard him but emotionally drained she couldn't stop to reply she quickly entered her house breathing as a paste that her chest rises and falls "water!" She said rushing to the kitchen taking the bottle from the refrigerator gulping it down quickly, she leans against the counter at the sink under the window over looking the welling's she peek out the window and saw when a light came on in the kitchen then one came on out back not long after she heard the sound of water splashing and could tell Tom was in the pool,
She climb the stairs on weak feet thinking of the kiss share with Tom, she can't believe how cold his kiss was and sweet, that was the sweetest kiss she has ever gotten,
She took a shower laying naked in bed playing on her nipples the thoughts of Tom make her feel so good she touch herself rubbing herself, unable to believe it that she actually enjoy kissing him, or him kissing her for he kiss her not the other way around,
The possibilities of making out with him was a limited chance for back in their school days she crushed on him but only her sister knew it she didn't know how she came to know but she did still with the feeling she might still like him,
Sunday morning she was up early for the time between six and midday Amanda avoid going outside she didn't want to see Tom didn't want Tom to see her.
Her phone rang a little after midday Portia called to see how she was
"How are things with you and the cat?" Portia ask
Now that Portia ask she haven't seen the cat since Tom shows up talking to her kissing her when she saw the cat, Tom wasn't around her mind kept going to a scene where a man transform into a cat or a cat into a man but could she really see a ghost, could it be that Tom is the ghost of her past, she shook her head thinking to herself it's not a movie it's real life asking herself could these things happen in real life too.
"Hello!" Portia said
"I haven't seen it"
"You haven't seen it?"
"You're not going to believe it, but Tom is here living right next door"
"First you ran in to Tom, then you saw a cat at Tom's place then Tom comes and no cat"
"What are you trying to say Portia?"
Portia laugh "nothing I'm not trying to say nothing, it's a little strange"
"What is strange?" Amanda ask trying not to feel afraid
"Are you home now?"
"Where else would I be Portia it's Sunday I'm not by you so I'm home$
"What you don't go by Matthew anymore?"
"I didn't feel like it this weekend"
"Oh ok I see"
"Oh, ok, I see, what do you see?"
"So did you and dear Tom talk about anything?"
"Last night we both sat on his swing watching the moon as it was about to eclipsed we talked about it and he explained to me that it has bad effect on the eyes if you watch it bear eyes, he kiss kiss me" Amanda said in a low voice,
"What! he kissed you? Oh my gosh he kissed you! Did you liked it was it sweet? Tell me tell me sister  please" Portia said excitingly
Amanda ran her fingers through her hair sighing she did like it a matter of fact she love it so much,
"Portia I'll call you love you say hello to mom and dad"
"I'll do that but tell me!" She said only to hear the phone went dead,
Amanda hang up and stretch out on the sofa her mind going wild as she was force to think so much to pressure her mind  causing the slight pain in her legs to feel worst, she shook all the thoughts from her head shaking her feet she then  jump up walk to the door and burst it open, the sun was still hot too hot for a distance walk maybe, and  she didn't want to  drive today while her feet still hurt for she has to go to work in the morning,  she came out to sit on her porch trying to rub the numbness from her feet only to see the cat ran from the front lawn and cross the rose patch running to the back of the welling's home, pretending to have not noticed it's  a few days since she saw it that's  since she's seeing more of Tom,you although with a  little fair she sat rubbing her feet, she was there another fifteen minutes when Tom came  from  behind the house wearing a grey sleepless shirt and grey shorts with white strike just like the color of the cat, it makes her think back on what her sister Portia had said about supernatural cat turning into man and man turning into cat she wants to believe and she don't want to believe but seeing Tom some time made it seems true like now the big grey and white cat just ran by her to the back yard and he came minutes later dress  in grey and white such a coincidence.
As she got up to go inside Tom saw her,
"Hey mandy" he said  and when she turns and look at him she almost grasp for she look right into the eyes of a cat, he was close to her then and it makes her wonder however he got so close when she got up he was just crossing the rose patch,
"Hey" he said again with a smile, i was just checking to see how you are, and how are those feet? Just now I saw you rubbing them"
"I'm ok, as for my feet a little bit numb but I'll manage" she said going to wards her door
"Its such a hot day  and only half of it is gone I was thinking that probably you could use a swim, won't you come join me at the pool"
Amanda look at him frowning,
"Hey the pool is fresh and the water warm and I won't do anything inappropriate" he said
"No body said kissing someone is inappropriate Tom but you don't take a person off guard like that"
"Did I mention that I was sorry?"
Amanda frown once again"alright" I'll join you" she said it at the same time having second thoughts but then a gain she could use the little swim, she went inside to grab her towel and put on a swim suit he was by the pool when she came out back, everything looks clean and fresh it even smells wonderful the water was inviting but the sun was hot,
Tom was sitting on the long chair tanning himself it was then she realized she didn't have sun screen, tom raise a hand to her offering it  to her when she came next to him, for a while she view the muscle of his strong arm that back in the days was whimsy and thin unbelievable how a boy like Tom could turn in such a fine ass man, she look at his chest like his arm full of hard muscles and his abdomen firm and sexy like one of those men on magazines,
"Need me to rub it in?" He ask
Amanda follow his voice to his face that wore a smile, he was still stretching the tanning creamer to her, she kept admiring his chest as she reached out to take it, "it's ok" she told him, walking around to seat herself on the next bench close to him, from the very moment she came she could tell these were new poolside chair and was convinced from the feeling she wanted to just lay back relax and enjoy what was left of the afternoon, but couldn't she didn't trust her instinct not yet and stay on her guard,
"Sure you don't need my help?" Tom ask seeing her trying to rub it on her shoulders, Amanda gave up trying and send it to him, he pour a useable amount into his palm sat behind her first he started with his fingers rubbing her shoulders then both hands as he rub the cream on her soft skin Amanda sat still until it was done she look at him "thanks" she pushed a smile
"Anytime" Tom said jumping off into the pool Amanda got up going closer to the pool where she sat testing the water with her toes it felt so good she went in she swim around a little after feeling the pressure on her legs she lean on the side of the pool for a while rubbing her feet,
"You ok?" Tom ask swimming over to her,
"Yeah just a little bit of pain in my feet" she told him climbing out the pool she went and sat back on the chair Tom got out and join her on her sitting at her feet, "I'm sure they're just tired"
Amanda thought it was from kicking that cat she look up at Tom wondering if Tom came because of that she felt nervous once again but soon that feeling was replaced with emotional feeling when Tom took her foot in his palms massages into it closing her eyes to the feel of it as he rub from one foot to the other,
"Ummmm, umm!" She bites into her bottom lip feeling the heat release from her body she relax she could smell his fresh body scent feel his breath she opened her eyes to find him only a inch away, instead of moving away she move closer claims his lips between hers closing her eyes once again feeling the magnet that pulls her closer, his lips caress her cheek bone then to her lips moving back And forth  she crave for more, his hands were on her thighs rubbing them making it even more sensational, he was kissing her neck rubbing his firm tongue on the side  of her senitive skin reacted to the heat, she knew she couldn't perlong and  had to make it stop, still  she wants to have him carrying on  for it feels so good but what was she getting herself into it didn't feel right, Amanda open her eyes pull back from him they look at each other both seeing their wants in each other's eyes, but Tom held his hands up as he move back from her,
"I should go" Amanda said
"Mandy you don't have to"
"Tom I have a boyfriend"
"Is it because you have a man in your life or are you afraid?" Tom ask,
"To be honest I'm afraid" Amanda admit to being afraid to love him but she was also a fraid he was just a ellugion
Tom nod
He watch her gather herself together walking away leaving him in such a heat, back in those days she always leave him heated seeing her made him heated but kissing her makes him want her, he sigh running his palm through his clump of hair, he got off the chair and took a nother swim,
The day was nearly ended but it seems long not to mention heated at some point Amanda could hardly breathe after that kiss with Tom, where  they almost made love,  she felt devastated even lonely, she dial Matthew but after three calls got no answer she gave up and call her sister,
They didn't talk for very long for Portia was with her man, it seems she was really busy for she didn't even tease her about Tom especially after telling her the day before about the kiss,  they bid each other good bye then Amanda call her parents talk with them both for over  an hour by she hang up it was already dark she got up to look out the window and saw a  four door open back van backing out the welling's garage heading down the street, she came out wondering if it was Tom or someone else, around eight the light from a vehicle shine in the living room Amanda got up and peek it was the same van coming back it went right in the garage but no one came out on going around to the kitchen she saw the light came on in the welling's kitchen, she went into the living room where she sat for sometime it was when she was near sleep she forgot she didn't prepare for school tomorrow.
The week went by like it was only a day Amanda couldn't believe it's already Friday she thought about going to her parents for the weekend then have second thoughts thinking maybe Matthew would come home but once she call and got no answer she knew she wouldn't be seeing him,
Friday night her door knock she opened up to see Tom "I know Mandy I've said I'm sorry before and Did the same thing I said I wouldn't"
"Want to come in?" Amanda ask cutting off what else he had to say, Tom smile step in behind her, they walk into the living room
"Can I offer you a drink?"
"A cool beer definitely" Tom said
Amanda point to the sofa and he sat while  she went to the kitchen and  came back carrying two tall bottle of beers one for him and the other for her,
Tom flip his open with his teeth and took a long drink before setting the bottle down on the coffee table, Amanda open hers using the bottle opener she drank a little,
"You didn't say why you came back" Amanda said
"I didn't hear you ask"
"So how are your parents?"
"With God I guess" Tom said "they both died"
"I'm sorry?"
"It was peaceful and they were together"
Amanda look at him wondering how they died a peaceful death together
"Was it an accident?"
"My mom died of lung cancer and Pa died from heart failure they died together, they both were in the hospital being treated for cranial illness I visited the morning early to find then laying in each other's arms doctor said it was natural causes but they both died peacefully, it's not very long ago six months maybe"
"I'm so sorry" Amanda pitty, "so the death of your parents bring you back why waited so long?"
"I always thought that nothing was here in this town for me, it was full of bitterness where people didn't care much for people like me"
Amanda look at him feeling guilty for she hadn't been all that nice either,she turn right into him and he grip her at the waist leaning into kiss her Amanda felt the need and was tired of running but still she was so afraid he took her arms  wrapped it  around his neck pushing her back for him to lay on her kissing from her cheek bones to the softness of her neck his fingers gentle as he loose the button from her shirt bursting it open exposting her naked breast Amanda felt cold air passes through her body as he plays on her nipples between his sharp teeth moving back and forth, she let out a soft pleasuring moan,
His caresses were too too good to be true and it make her grave his love even more, he entered her and she welcome him with such longing feeling the sweetness of his love as he was burried deep within her.
It was over and she lays comfortable beneath him tangling her fingers into his hair his breathing was steady as if it wasn't done but she could tell from the way he felt he had a climax to the way he jumps about inside of her, she suddenly realized there was no use of any condoms, telling herself not to panic, he ease up on his elbows looking down on her, she suddenly felt shy, he smile,  getting up as he withdraw himself from her leaving a cold space where he had been, he sat up Amanda shift her legs so he wouldn't be in between them anymore, for a while they sat their nothing said Amanda couldn't help but think that was the best damn sex she had herself feeling the sweetness inside of her, apart of her wants to ask him to love her again.
Tom clear his throat as he turned and looked at her, his mouth open to speak but Amanda stop him, "don't say you're sorry" she told him
"not this time" he said, easing over she kiss him softly rubbing his cheek,
He rock back his head resting his cheek in her palm then kiss it getting up he lean in to kiss her,
"I'll see you tomorrow" he said
Amanda nod wanting to beg him to stay but she let him walk away
He was gone for half hour when she finally got up to take a bath she haven't felt this good in all her life,
She lays down gazing into the ceiling with sweet thoughts of Tom on her, she falls a sleep thinking of him and the sweet love  he made to her, it's a long time she haven't had such a good night she was up early feeling vitalize on her way to the kitchen she stretch her arms in the air smiling to the way she feels she rub herself the feeling of the sweet love with Tom was still there, she made it into the kitchen and look out the kitchen window but everything seems still there, she opened her back door and checked to see if he was by the pool but no sign of him, she walk around coming to the front for a while she stood there the familiar sound of the cat meowing got her looking around for a while she didn't see it until it came out of the tree that hold the swing he came running rubbing around her feet "go from here" Amanda said feeling a bit scared, "go!" She push it with her foot, she then remember the last time she kicked it she got pain vowing not to do that again she reach to pick it up it came to her arm freely Amanda remember Portia ask if she knew what kind of cat it was thinking she are to check just to be clear, her eyes widen when she saw it to be a male she quickly toss it from her and hurry inside closing her door tightly.
