Rylie got out of the car, followed by Luke and she slammed the door angrily.
"What's wrong?" Luke asked. "You haven't said a word the entire car ride."
"It's just...those comments hurt me because they could affect our relationship." Rylie admitted.
Luke shook his head. "No...I won't let a idiotic man affect our relationship."
As expected, everyone was greeted at the hotel with tons of fans wanting pictures and autographs, which was totally fine.
The boys walked over to some girls, and Luke and Rylie waited patiently by the door for them.
A girl in a One Direction t-shirt that was obviously way too big for her, walked up to Rylie, and she looked down at her in a peculiar way. Rylie didn't normally get fans coming up to her with puppy dog eyes asking for anything except rarely on occasion, but Rylie always felt pretty awesome when someone actually wanted HER autograph.
"Hi Rylie..." the girl said excitedly, exposing her blue and pink braces.
"Hey!" Rylie kneeled down a bit, and looked at the girl.
"I heard you wrote 'Right Now' on the album, and I love that song! Can I get a picture?" the girl asked.
"Of course..." Rylie held the girl's phone in front of them and snapped a shot. "There you go..."
"Man, I hope one day I'm as good a writer as you are!"
"That really means a lot. Thank you." Rylie smiled warmly, and the girl was off. That made up for the harsh comment from the paparazzi. Those treats every once in a while made Rylie want to continue working as hard as she did for the boys.
Rylie looked up, and saw Luke was getting his own attention from a crowd of teenagers. She laughed at how dumbfounded he looked, foreign to the attention. Technically, this was his first few autographs, and she bet he was feeling pretty satisfied at that moment.
"I like your hair...It's so soft!" One girl oohed as she ran her fingers through Luke's quiff.
Rylie wasn't jealous at first, but then she remembered that her and Luke were only 18. The girls talking to Luke were definitely capable of being that age, and they continued to flirt like it was nothing. Rylie wasn't the jealous type, and she knew Luke would get this attention by many other appealing girls for a while, and she had to be okay with that. This happened with Liam, and it would happen with Luke, but it still rubbed Rylie the wrong way.
She walked over, and kissed Luke on the cheeks. "Hey babe..." she said seductively.
Luke raised his eyebrows at her, and smiled. "Hey yourself."
"Rylie! Omg! It's Rylie! Are you with Luke now?"
"Yea..." Rylie said nonchalantly, tucking her hands in the back of Luke's pant pockets.
Luke shifted awkwardly, smiling and nodding at the girls.
The girls got the hint, and quickly thanked Luke for the autographs before they exited the premises.
Luke turned around to face Rylie and grabbed her shoulders. "I think someone's a little jealous."
Rylie blushed. "Maybe a little....but do you blame me? You are an attractive, young, and dignified guy and I'm obvious out of your league." Rylie was embarrassed at her childish act but it was true.
Luke hugged Rylie, squeezing her shoulder. Rylie felt his breath on the back on her neck, and since they were the perfect couple's height, she could hear his heart beat. Ba-boom. Ba-boom. Ba-boom.
