Cries, Credit Cards and Cuddles

I saw daddy off today. Two months, I'll see him again in two months. I keep on reminding myself that everything is temporary, that someday he'll never leave our homeland ever again. I hugged daddy, he squeeze-hugged me, daddy's squeeze-hugs are the best. He told me to take care of my mom and sisters. I fought hard, trying not to cry in front of them. Mom was crying, she cries every time.

We stayed on the departure area of the airport, daddy turned around to wave goodbye, as high as his arms could stretch, we did the same. My sisters went back inside the car.

I waited until daddy disappeared amidst the crowd. I put up a straight face and guided mom back inside our cab. Good thing it's evening and it's dark inside the car, no one saw when tears streamed down my face.

Nico and I were bombarded with congratulatory messages. When I logged on today, I had 17 private messages, and 93 notifications.

I stared at my screen with and my jaw dropped.

Tyche sent me and Nico a voice message. It contained a lot of squealing and 'OMG's'. It was hilarious. Zoe asked me if I really was just after Nico's money. I laughed at that, I told her 'No'. Zoe said "Oh well, looks like I need to find another one like him."

My eyebrows raised, so she does like him. Well, too late.

Speaking of 'Too late', Hephaestus confessed, he said he's got a crush on me. I laughed again, I told him to get in line and wait until Nico and I breaks up, which I hope is never.

Hephy said: "Well, I'm off to orchestrate your break up." Heph's the best.

As I waited for Nico to get online, I talked to Heph some more about instant noodles. I told him that we're going to build a restaurant, Heph named it "Flex Tavern". I told him it's an open kitchen concept, he said he'll be cooking shirtless and he'll be flexing a lot. I laughed so hard, Heph's imagination is extreme.

Oh, and he also gave me a new faceclaim for Demeter. Nico asked me if I could have a younger face to match with his character, I tried looking, but I couldn't find any.

Nico came online and we broke up twice. First breakup: A credit card situation, second breakup: he lacks romantic bones.

It was extremely fun. We fight a lot, but he's always the one to say sorry. He always admits his mistakes. And he promised me a selfie.

Nico also said he's chosen to come to Philippines. He's always talked about Rome and Greece, he's always wanted to visit those countries. And I can't believe there's a '90% chance' he'd come.

He'd fly across the world for someone he hasn't even met. I asked him " What if I'm not everything you expected me to be?"

And he said "If you're perfect, I'll love you. And if you're not perfect, I'll love you even more."

Okay, maybe he is romantic, just a tiny smudge of a bit.
