Annie has always been a little sister to me. She's followed in Josh's shadow a lot from the two growing up close together. Annie's younger of course, but that's never stopped the two. Being so, I've seen her grow up. I care about her as my own. You mess with her, you've done the worse mistake. I don't let that slide easily. She has always been important to me. And now, James hurt her. So you can imagine how pissed off I am now.I burst through the front door of the house and hear talking in the office. James must've had some work to do. He isn't alone, I hear other voices. Males. But I don't care. My mind is clouded with anger and I stump upstairs and before I hit the door, I hear things go silent.
I blow open the door and see James leaning back against his desk, a man sitting in a chair across from him who's hair is in a bun and another man leaning his shoulder next to the window on the left.
Nothing else I really noticed cause I kept focused on James.
"What the hell were you thinking!" I push against his chest once up to him. He stumbles a little almost falling over his desk. "You don't find me so you go after Annie!"
He growls at me and keeps his eyes locked on mine. "I didn't. We went there cause Julian was having a damn fit. You screwed up his face. All in all, it's your fault. You went after him. So he went for you. Annie happened to be home alone and Julian was blindsided with kill rage for you."
"Me? I didn't go after him! He messed with me. I defended myself."
"No." I looked behind me hearing Julian who had been beside the door, but I only just now noticed him. "I asked for a couple beers for James and me.. James can witness that." He pushes off the wall. I seen his nose was cleaned up and has a bandage patch on the fridge of it. Along with his top lip being busted. Oops?
"Yeah. I know. And I was getting those..Then you came in to bother me." I huffed and crossed my arms, turning so none of them are behind me and they're all in view.
Julian narrowed his eyes, "No I didn't. I did go to the kitchen..to see if you heard me when I asked for the beers."
"You didn't ask. You ordered." I interrupted.
"Quiet." James ordered at me which I glared.
Julian nodded. "I asked.. I went in, you were at the fridge. I asked if you needed help. You came to me and started flirting. I told you it wasn't a good idea cause of James. But you insisted. We fought a little with each other and she got mad cause I was turning her down..so she punched me in the nose." He looks from me to James.
I glared at Julian and breathed heavily. Not from running, from anger. I can't believe he's pulling this shit. He went after me, I kicked him to keep him away from me. Not the other way around. He's pretending to be the victim.
"I think we should come back another time." The men who had been in a meeting with James, spoke and got up to leave.
James looked to the two men dressed for office talk, "I apologize. I'll give you a call tomorrow."
The men nodded and headed out quietly. Once the door clicked, James looked to me.
"You have to start trouble don't you."
I scoffed, "Me? I didn't go after him." I glared at James then looked back to Julian. "He came after me. I didn't punch him in the face, I kicked him in the face. Cause he was trying to trap me."
Julian was trying to hide a smirk. I seen it. No denying that. And he was getting James to believe his side to easily. I don't like it. Mess with me, fine. Hit me, so be it. Call me a lier, is what it is. Hurt my family? You better have life insurance.
